The Joy Of Having A Baby
Tashina slumped down to the bed with exhaustion as the baby's cries filled the room.
A lazy smile came onto her lips when she heard Chivia shouting that it was a girl.
She had done it. She has given birth to a baby girl.
"You did great, my love. You were so brave," Xavier muttered in her ears as he kissed her head softly.
"The baby..." Tashina let out, wanting nothing more but to hold the little gift in her arms.
"They are cleaning her up. I'll be right back," Xavier mumbled before he slipped out of her hold.
Tashina could hear all the commotion coming from the maids, Chivia, and Ren but her head was too dizzy to comprehend it all.
She felt so listless that she would like to sleep for a full week after this. Her centre was scorching with receding pain and each move bit her painfully.
As she heard cautious steps coming towards her, Tashina peeled her eyes open to see the most beautiful sight ever.
