"Why don't we have a private chat, General?" Tashina smirked as Reul's face turned ashen.
"But why, honey? Why do you want to talk to him in private? Is there something you don't want us to know?" Queen Sania butted in quickly.
She can't let Tashina talk with the General. He might spill something about the attack.
"Of course not, Mother. I just want to brief him on a few things about the army. Even though I'm a female and much younger than him, I still am his senior in the army, right?" Tashina raised her eyebrow as if she was daring Queen Sania to retaliate.
"O-of course" Queen Sania lowered her gaze.
"But we're in the middle of dinner. Why don't you postpone it till tomorrow? I mean-"
"Father, do I have your permission to speak with the General?" Tashina batted her eyelashes at her stepfather, King Luther.
"Sure. You don't need my permission" King Luther waved.
"You see, Mother. I am permitted" Tashina stood up with a smirk.
