Feeling Guilty And Lots Of Possessiveness

She stood by the window still, looking down at the beautiful snowflakes falling on the window. Her entire form was filled with tranquility as she often let out an undetectable sigh.

The streams of thoughts running haphazardly through Tashina's head were too numerous for her to take in all at one mind blowing attempt.

Our Princess woke up today, feeling a deep pit of guilt at the depths of her stomach. Prince Lane's cheerful face kept on flickering through her mind like a light that was about to consume a room with its brightness and her bleeding heart yearned for her younger brother.

Today mark five days since she left her kingdom to go on a mission for the throne. Although it didn't end up as she expected and she nearly lost her life in the process, Tashina was in a way glad that she decided to go on this mission despite Lane's adamant refusal.

Because if she hadn't, she wouldn't have known the true colors of her stepmother nor would she have met Mr. Xavier who seemed to have left an unbreakable bond in her heart.

She opened her wound to check how close it was to getting healed. The wound in her stomach was a light shade of red and it looked as though she had a severe rash but other than that, everything was fine. The wound have closed and she no longer feels the lingering pain anymore.

Being a full blooded vampire comes with many privileges and the ability to heal faster than any other creature is one of it.

On a norm, wounds from the Cooper-bronze metal should take a month to heal for deeps wounds such as the Princess's but in a outstanding number of five days, her wounds have closed up and it was like she was back to normal again.

The Princess wondered what her brother would be doing now. Was he mourning over her death or was he still waiting for her to return?

Tears brimmed her eyes when she thought of Queen Sania's betrayal. The person she thought to be a mother sent men to execute her? She still couldn't believe it up till now.

All the memories, smiles, love and happiness that they shared were all just a huge false truth so she could get the throne and rule as she deemed fit.

But no matter what, she will go back to retrieve her throne and the only way to do that is to get the head of the greatest alpha in the werewolves' realm.

Now that she is feeling much better, there's no need to waste more time, she would find that alpha, take him down and return to her kingdom.

The said alpha stepped into the room, holding mugs of tea in each of his hands. He was sporting grey joggers with a simple black T-shirt but it made him look like a God of beauty.

His blue eyes sparkled brightly when he saw Tashina. The love he had for her was evident in his eyes but Tashina couldn't see it at all.

She raised her head up when she heard some noises and looked up to see Mr. Xavier handing her a cup of tea which she took with a smile that definitely didn't touch her eyes.

Xavier frowned when he noticed the obviously fake smile she gave him when she took the cup.

He couldn't figure out why his vampire was very down today, the number of words she has said to him since today was less than the fingers in a hand and he was extremely worried about her.

Because of the huge snowstorm outside, he was unable to go to the castle and he thought she would be happy when he told her he won't be going anywhere today but she just shrugged and continued staring out the window.

The attempt of cheering her up with a cup of blood tea didn't help at all and now he was biting his lower lips, trying to think of anything that could cheer his vampire up.

"Do you want to have another spar? I bet I would win this time" he said in a light one but his blue eyes pierced through her skin.

"Not in the mood" she shook her head without turning to look at him.

Xavier dropped his mug on the table and moved to the silent vampire by the window still and sat in front of her as he began to stroke her curly red locks which was let loose to flow beautifully over her shoulders.

"Tell me what's on your mind, my little spark" he whispered.

She sighed once more before she turned to him and looked down at the tea.

"I...I am feeling much better now" she said silently.

"Yeah, I can see that so what?"

"I would like to return to my kingdom now" she said and didn't dare to look up when the tension rose in the room.

The cool breeze that blew over his face when he heard her statement made him still in where he sat. He didn't move an inch, not ever dare to blink.

The thoughts that were running through his head at this crucial moment were totally thrown away from his indifferent expression as he stared at her intently.

"You go nowhere"

She sharply raised her head and stared him down.

"You don't get to decide that"

"I do. I saved you from death so you owe me your life" His steel eyes could possibly freeze anyone to death but she maintained the eye contact steadily.

"My life is mine, if you need a prize for saving my life, I will gladly pay you in money, goods or even women. Name your reward" She stood up and towered over him.

"I don't need anything. I want you. Only you" He stood up and grabbed her arm to pull her close to him.

"Stop it!!" she pushed him away from her.

"Stop it!! That's enough. You need to stop this your excessive possessiveness towards me! I am not yours nor am I bound to you just because I can hear you speak through your mind!"

"Yes you are. Do you think it's normal to hear people's mind? You and I have a connection, that's why I will never let you go"

"Fuck you and your stupid connection" she swore.

"I am Tashina Kirem Regor Trien, the Crown Princess of South-Mairak Kingdom and I am not bound to anyone, especially not a self-centered werewolf like you" She declared.

"Crown Princess?!" asked Xavier out loud.

"I thought you were a general?"

"I am that and more, I was sent here to kill the North-Eastern Alpha and I will get that bastard's head to prove my worth for the throne and I would like to watch you stop me.."

The sudden exposition made his feet step back a few steps unconsciously. He squeezed his eyes, trying to comprehend the the weight of what she just spewed.

Xavier finally got the answer he desperately wanted. He kept on wondering what a vampire would be doing at his territory all alone. Now he knows, she was sent to execute him.

He had heard of stories about spies inside his Pack, planning to take him down but what he never imagined was his supposed mate to be an assassin.

"So that is what it was, huh? You were sent here to kill the Alpha. For what? To prove your worth? How does killing an innocent person proves you to be Queen?"

"Innocent? Bloody innocent, your kind killed thousands of my people in the pretence of conducting a peace treaty so who are you calling innocent?"

"Those were the past king's mistakes. Why should you kill someone else for another person's mistakes?"

"They are the same type of being. Despicable and Heartless!" she spat venomly.

"And you? You must be so honourable and righteous that you plan on killing the ruler of so many werewolves just to prove yourself worthy" he retaliated.

She didn't answer him and moved to the drawer by the bed, rummaging through it to find something.

"Where is my armour?" she asked while throwing any object she saw away.

"Where is it?"

"I have told you. You will not be leaving this tower" insisted Xavier.

"How long do you plan on keeping me here? A year? A decade? I have people I need to return to, why can't you understand that?" she threw the mug at the corner of the room and the tea he made for her spilled all over the room.

"They will believe you are dead and you can start a new life with me. I will love and protect you. We will be happy together" he pleaded as he slowly walked towards her.

"Are you insane? I mean, can you even hear yourself right now? I do not want to be with you, you bloody disgusting beast!" she gritted menacingly as her eyes blazed with pure hatred.

Hatred for what or who? Xavier didn't want to find that out.

His breaths became rugged, making his chest to rise and fall simultaneously. His claws showed their ugly faces and his vision changed completely when his eyes turned into a deeper shade of blue, indicating the appearance of Talon, his anger wolf.

She took a few steps back when she noticed the change in his aura. Not really scared, just being cautious, her eyes instinctively searched for something to defend herself in case the need to arises.

Shards of wood flew all over the room when he aggressively took a chair and threw it to the ground.

"You are MINE!" he grunted before his bones became to crack and break as his body formed into Talon in the blink of an eye.

She gasped out loud as she witnessed the sudden change. Tashina has never seen the process of a Were turning into a wolf so the shock was quite deep for her trembling form.

Their eyes met and she stood still, reluctantly anticipating what was next. The black beast stood in the middle of the room without moving or making a noise.

The only sound that could be heard was the rapid beats of Talon as he stared her down with his tilted head.

The rest of the world stopped for a moment. Nothing could be heard or seen except for the unfortunate lovers.

Suddenly his heart started to ache so badly that he

howled out in pain before he stepped out of the room through the window.

The broken glass fell down the floor just as Tashina sank down in anguish while tugging her riled hair strands.

I don't know how I feel with this chapter!!!
