Alec dropped down at a secluded part of the country and ditched the plane. He staggered to a nearby pharmacist shop and requested that they treat his cracked ribs.
"I'm sorry sir, but we can't treat your broken bones here. Why didn't you go to the hospital?", the pharmacist asked with worry. "I thought you fix broken bones on the limbs and whatnot", Alec said with disdain.
"Exactly sir, the limbs. That's an external treatment, but yours needs a surgeon to fix it because it is inside your chest. You might need to hurry mister, this broken rib might be causing damage to your organs. You are probably bleeding internally", the pharmacist said, trying to conclude the conversation.
"I can't go to the hospital", Alec said flatly. The pharmacist felt like crying. "But why?" He said with exasperation. "Haven't you seen the news? I am wanted like everywhere", Alec said and took a vitamin pack on the shelf and poured the contents into his mouth.
