The Reality Game
As an ordinary college sophomore student, Alec Norman always focused on making sure he get good grades to graduate in flying colours. While Alec's school project demanded that he bought a Virtual Reality headset, he stumbled on a pawn shop and met an old man who gifted him a retro VR headset, a headset which he accepted begrudgingly. What he didn't know was that the VR headset he brought to his home would change the way he understood reality forever. Inspired from the novel 48 Hours a Day!
Adams, What Are We Going to Do Now?
Alec had underestimated the impact of the fall so much. He felt the crack on his ribcage expanding in his chest as he was breathing, and it hurt so much. Alec grimaced his face and staggered towards the jeep that Jazz had come with.
Something was amiss. Alec immediately jumped out as soon as he felt slightly uncomfortable. At the last moment, the jeep detonated, firing fragments all over the place.
Some of the hot fragments landed on Alec and caused burns on his skin, but Alec didn't mind. "Sly bastard", he cursed under his breath. He expected that Jazz would never go without making sure he was dead. The thing was how he knew he was going to use his jeep. He installed a proximity sensor that would explode as soon as Alec stayed 25 centimeters away from the jeep. Sly.
Alec walked to his plane and started its engine, but it was not starting. With gritted teeth, he walked down and examine the engine. The fire around him was causing the plane's inactivity as the body was very hot.
