As an ordinary college sophomore student, Alec Norman always focused on making sure he get good grades to graduate in flying colours. While Alec's school project demanded that he bought a Virtual Reality headset, he stumbled on a pawn shop and met an old man who gifted him a retro VR headset, a headset which he accepted begrudgingly. What he didn't know was that the VR headset he brought to his home would change the way he understood reality forever. Inspired from the novel 48 Hours a Day!
Don't Blame Me for Your Stupidity
Laura was shocked by what she saw. She heard the sound of the sniper bullet hitting the captain, but he was still standing. He didn't even flinch a bit as he stared intently at the sniper, who was also shocked.
"I was ordered to kill you and bring your head back, but I'm giving you a chance to get out of here and never follow us, ever. Otherwise, what would happen next would be your fault", the captain spoke loudly, his voice echoing in the empty street.
The captain counted the seconds he waited for the sniper to respond. At exactly ten seconds, he turned around and headed for the second jeep that it's engine was still running. After confirming that it was in a good condition, he headed to the jeep Laura was in and dragged her outside. This time, she didn't even struggle. She fully trusted in Alec, although she didn't know how he would solve the unkillable captain's situation.
