The Perfect Face-slap

--Liza's Birthday Party, Hotel Regal, City J--

Fiona, Peter & Piya entered the hall where the party was arranged. The hall was already packed with guests. Liza was peter's classmate & now Fiona's too. She approached them & led them in. Soon, Piya & Peter were surrounded by their friends.

"Come on, did you bring that special friend of yours?"

"Introduce her to us, please."

"We heard enough of her. Bring her in front of us."

"She's really talented, right?"

"We want to meet her, please!!!"

"Okay, okay", Piya silenced them," Here she is."

Peter nudged Fiona forward. She gently smiled at the people surrounding her. Everyone was staring at her with wide eyes. She was a feast for their eyes. Her beauty enchanted everyone present there.

Finally, someone spoke," You're Fiona? You look so amazing."

"Yeah, we heard a lot 'bout you from Peter & Piya."

"They've been talking 'bout you from the past 2 weeks."

"Really?", Fiona glanced at Peter & Piya. They smiled in return. Their talks was interrupted by the announcement of Liza cutting her B'day cake. Quickly, they gathered around her. Liza smiled at all of them and said,"Thanks everyone for coming today." Then she blew the candles & everyone clapped.

"Happy Birthday, Liza."

"Thanks."

"Happy Birthday."

...

But soon everyone gathered around Fiona, including Liza. They heard the great talks of wisdom from Fiona.People were raising her endlessly. Finally, someone asked her to sing a song. But she gently rejected. Everyone seemed disappointed. Soon after, cackle was heard nearby & a girl in a long, black gown approached them. She had a wicked smile pasted on her face. Finally, she stopped in front of Fiona.

"I knew it. She's just a pretty face & nothing else. Do you know why she rejected all of you?"

Everyone glanced at each other.

"Well, I'll answer that for you. It's because she's afraid her facade will drop."

"How dare you say that 'bout her?", Piya gritted her teeth loudly.

"Haha, It's the truth."

Fiona stared at her calmly, her face void of any expressions. The girl in black returned her stare & said, "Am I right?"

Fiona moved her gaze & shifted it to the piano behind the girl. She moved away from the girl & walked gracefully to the piano. She sat behind it & stroked the keys gently. After a while, a melodious music floated in everyone's ears. And it was followed by a melodious voice. When Fiona stopped singing, there was a moment of silence followed by a thunderous applause. Everyone admired her greatly while the girl in black was glaring at her. Her face was black as the bottom of a pot. She turned around angrily & strode off on her high heels.

Everyone watched the scene unfold & felt greatly satisfied. Everyone admired her capability of giving face-slaps.

--On the way home--

Piya was the happiest & kept talking 'bout the situation.

"You were just incredible tonight. Everyone was satisfied."

"Yeah, it was worth it", Peter joined in.

"You gave the perfect face-slap."

Fiona smiled without saying anything.

Even the discussion reached Aunt Rosa's ears. She was greatly amused. But since they already had their dinner at the party, Aunt Rosa promised Fiona a great meal next time.
