Oddly Satisfying

The next morning Fiona woke up early as usual. She tidied herself & wore a red sleeveless short frock with black embroidered flowers. She tied her hair into a side-plait & stepped out of her room. At the same time, Peter & Piya also stepped into the living room. Greeting each other 'Good Morning' & moved to the dining hall. Aunt Rosa had already set up the table with a buffet breakfast.

Fiona greeted her, "Good morning, Aunt."

"Good morning, my dear."

"Good morning, Mom."

"Good morning, my girl."

"Good morning, Mom."

"Good morning, my boy."

After all the 'Good mornings', they all sat for the breakfast. No doubt they always enjoy Aunt Rosa's cooking. She had always loved cooking. She even packed each of them a lunch box. Eventually, Piya left before Peter & Fiona. Both of them bid farewell to Aunt Rosa & got in their SUV.

--St. Martin College, City J--

"Did you hear 'bout the new girl Fiona?"

"Yeah, she gave the perfect face-slap to Rita."

"I know, right?"

"How I wish I was there?"

"Yeah, me too. But listening to the story itself is oddly satisfying."

Everyone was busy talking 'bout last night. As soon as Fiona & Peter entered the school, everyone rushed towards them to greet Fiona. Everyone wanted her to teach how to give the perfect face-slaps. Just like that, Fiona made a bunch of friends who vowed to be loyal & followed her everywhere.

--Class A, School building 2--

Fiona was led by Peter & her bunch of new friends to their classroom. When the teacher saw them entering the class, he was greatly amused. He called Fiona & said, "Looks like everyone hear knows you. There is no room for introduction." Fiona smiled & nodded. Indeed, everyone was happy with her presence. Everyone felt relaxed with her presence. But unbeknownst to everyone, someone was looking at Fiona with great malice & murderous intent. Fiona, somehow, might have sensed the malice, subconsciously turned to look at certain someone. Her eyes felt on Rita, who was sitting in the far corner of the class. Indeed, Fiona was sitting on the seat that once belonged to her. Fiona very expressionlessly, unlike to anyone, stared at Rita for a moment & moved away her eyes, as if disinterested. The rest of the day passed away without a certain someone wreaking 'havoc'.

--Cafeteria, Building D--

There was a dark figure leaning against a pillar, emitting a murderous vibe. Her eyes silently followed Fiona & the new bunch of friends that followed her. Her own team of lackeys even ditched her to follow Fiona 'round. She gritted her teeth endlessly. Her hands were balled into fists & she had a hard time controlling her witch instincts. Fiona, somehow sensed the strangely familiar vibe. Her eyes fell on the dark figure partially hidden behind the pillar. Her reflex warned her to be highly cautious 'round Rita!

When Fiona & co., booked themselves a huge table, Fiona still sensed the aura surrounding them & it was hitting her hard. She immediately understood that Rita was still present behind the pillar by the wall. Her witch instincts told her they were similar in a strange way. Just then, Fiona felt the splitting headache raising in her with her vision darkening. The world 'round her started spinning. Without wasting much time, Fiona closed her eyes & saw the great rack of utensils crashing down on Peter & Liza who were standing not to far. She opened her eyes & saw they were actually talking not to far away. She stood up & immediately charged towards them. Her friends were a little startled. She saw the rack swaying gently & also felt the murderous aura there. She firmly grabbed both of their arms & pulled them firmly. As soon as they pulled away, the whole rack came crashing down immediately. It quickly caused a commotion. Both Liza & Peter had a thankful look on their face.

"Thanks, Fiona. For saving us", Liza smiled.

"Really thankful", Peter expressed, " But how did you manage to get us that quick?"

"It's nothing. I just saw the rack swaying", Fiona explained & then led them to the reserved table. Everyone had a look of worry pasted on their face. Everyone almost jumped from their seat with the scene that unfolded in front of them. Everyone began pouring their worry out.

"Are you hurt?"

"No, I'm fine."

"Sis, are you okay?",Piya looked at Liza.

"Yes",Liza smiled.

While everyone was busy attending Liza & Peter, & the workers were cleaning the mess, Fiona noticed Rita entering the cafeteria with a guilty look. She understood that the mess was created due to her flow of uncontrolled emotions. Fiona decided to deal with her immediately.
