Rimuru took out his sword and faced him.
The person's hands was now radiating a red aura.

Rimuru slashed his sword towards him.

At the moment, when the sword was going to slash his hand that was heading for Rimuru. Rimuru suddenly felt a pain on his lower jaw. The person had ducked down and punched Rimuru.
The punch had hit him.
Rimuru flew up in the sky as if he was a toy.
Wha-What happened? It was fast. He was not using his full speed when he dashed towards me. I had lowered my guard.
Rimuru thought as he landed back on the ground, standing on his feets.
My lower jaw hurts. Wait. How do I feel pain?
The person had a smug look on his face as he spoke.
"Wondering how you are feeling pain? I have a skill named Ignore Pain which works as pain nullification for me and it also lets my opponent feel pain from my attacks even if they have a resistance on pain. Also, I punched with 5% of my strength. I guess that won't be enough."
He then smirked.
The person readied himself to charge again.
I had my guard up this time. He doesn't have a sword so he should be easy to defeat with me having a sword but...
He rushed at me but this time, I was ready. That time, my guard was down. I am not sure whether I can defeat him or not but I have to do my best.
He dashed towards me again.
I slashed towards him with my sword. I had slashed towards him with my highest speed with which I could exert right now.
*Clang*
I was ready for this. There was no way it would be this easy to defeat him.
When my sword was going to hit him, his nails suddenly got bigger and as his nails and my sword met each other, a huge spark was made with a clang sword.
Suddenly, he backed off a little after our clash.
An opening.
I thought as I rushed at him again with my sword raised. I did a left slash and a right slash in hopes that one would go through and even do a scratch.
His nails were blocking my every attacks and were creating sparks and a clang sword as we tried to hit each other.
I didn't stop because if I did, he could take advantage of that. I had to be in the offensive.

His nails had that same red aura as his hands which gave a feeling of absolute danger.
Their swords had clashed with each other atleast a hundred times at this point but nobody was giving up.
*Clang*
With a last clang, they maintained distance from each other.
"We have been fighting for quite some time but I still don't know who you are? Why are you attacking me? I am just an adventurer" I said to the person.
"Name's Bane. I am Falmuth's secret weapon." Bane lied after which he began laughing.
Falmuth's secret weapon?
Rimuru thought ignoring his laughing.
"Hahahahaha! What a nice joke! If you had to act like an adventurer, you should have done it at the starting! You are telling me that an adventurer was blocking my attacks at my 10% all this time! Rimuru Tempest~" Bane said.
Tch. He knows my name. How can I get out of this alive?
"Ah. It looks like some time has passed. It's time to use another skill of mine." Bane said.
He pointed his right hand towards Rimuru as if he was going to cast a fireball.
Fireball? No. It's definitely something else. I have to stop it.
Rimuru thought as he also did the same.
"Come out, Ifri-" Before Rimuru could say more, he fell to the ground with pain.
