Arrival and First Prey

Shank's Pov:  I was sleeping and having one of most common dreams that I would be scared of if I was the old me. It all started when I went to sleep after supervising the daily training of Levi and Kenny. I took a nap and the next thing I know ,I'm sitting in a plane and a couple minutes later ,that same plane was breaking down and I was  hurled out of  my seat on the plane and was falling. While if it was  me before my training with Rayleigh,i would be panicking right now and screaming my lungs out like a schoolgirl. Now, I could think of a couple of ways to save myself ,so all I felt was boredom to the point I felt like just closing to see if the dream would end. 'On second thought,let's try it. Not like I can do much if it doesn't work.' And I did just that. And it worked ,somehow. I woke up to the shining rays of sunlight that I ignored in favor of looking at the scene in front of me. The ship was approaching an island that awfully resembled Galuna island from the " Fairy Tail'' anime.  The island was like a crescent moon with small islands extending to the waters near it. It was covered by a large number of trees that I could see even from here as they were tall as hell. The area where the island resides also had some small mountains that grew near the island and the small island surrounding it. The island looked like a normal island from here ,but this is the one piece world we're talking about and a new world island at that. I stood up from where I was sleeping ready to wake up the brothers before I heard the doors to both of their rooms opening. I sensed both of them walking towards me. When they were next to me, Kenny asked ," Is that the island we're looking for captain? " I nodded at his question before I said to both of them," Get ready you two, you got enough sleep since for some reason the weather didn't change like it usually did during the past week. i 'll be going against Bjorn and you two will be fighting whoever he has with him."  Levi looked kind of bummed out at that but let out a sad but understanding nod while Kenny asked ," But captain,what if he has nobody else with him ,then what do we do?" I took on a look of contemplation while ignoring Levi's almost horrified face. I eventually decided and then said," Then you'll go into the island's market and restock on some supplies . Even though we didn't use up all of it ,we used the majority. You can use the money and treasures we robbed from all the [pirate crews we encountered during the whole week.Get ready to land on since we're so close to the islands's port" He nodded before he dragged Levi with him ,who looked like he had caught a major case of depression after post nut clarity, to get ready to land on the islands local port. We passed by other pirate crews in tier ships. They exuded malice the moment they saw only three people on the ship only to back off once I released some of the control I had on my conqueror's haki which had grown to a level it was getting harder to control to a proficient degree. That seemed to send clear warning signals as they started to retreat. I let some more of my control slip and the fodder  in all the ships started to pass out every time our ship passed by the pirate's ships. By the time we arrived at the port, every ship was in a line either right or to the left of us as our ship just sailed in the middle. The scene reminded me of some yakuza and mafia scenes from certain movies I had watched in some movies from my previous life. When we got to the port, we docked and Kenny and Levi jumped off the ship while I anchored the ship.  I also jumped off the ship and landed near Levi and Kenny who didn't look that much different except for their visible growth in muscles. I spent the whole week training them into proper shape in preparation for them to learn the Rokushiki. And both did not disappoint as they were hard workers. The occasional battles with some pirates let them learn to control and fight in heated situations. After all,although they had been in a lot of fights, fighting pirates who managed to survive the blue and the Grandline and made it into the new world was different from fighting Fish-man thugs. Before we went  our separate ways, I told Kenny," While you're restocking our supplies, try to see if you can find and buy us some transponder snails.They are immensely helpful if we are separated in any situation. If you can buy some,get at least three for me,you and levi."  Kenny nodded and both him and Levi departed to find Boomecks's local market. I looked at them before I shifted my gaze to the first pub I saw and smiled as I started walking towards it. The sign at the front read " Jenny's local Pub". I walked towards the door and opened it while slowly letting some of my control over my conqueror's haki slip. It Wasn't enough to knock out the weak willed. But it was enough to send warning signals to all those who intended to cause trouble but were weak. The activities stopped the moment I stepped foot onto the clear floor of the pub. I sensed at least two strong presences that seemed to have some form of observation haki as both did their best to ignore my presence while others in the bar clearly projected their wariness and hostility. I looked in the direction of the two haki users before I walked to the stool and ordered my favorite wine brand. After five minutes of constant glances of wariness, someone spoke up and in no time everybody was back to their usual selves as they talked about whatever it is they were talking about before I entered the pub. There were still some subtle and occasional glances of wariness directed at me but everybody seemed to have decided to mind their business. I was dipping on my second bottle of wine when I heard an interesting conversation. Two clearly drunk men started to talk about the occasional pirate activities. While they groaned and listed the activities of various pirates,nothing interesting was shared until one of them then mentioned Bjorn. The moment he even mentioned the name,I sensed an increase in the tension of some pirates near them who seemed to have also come to the pub for some information gathering. The drunk man said," Have ya heard pablo?Ever since the plunderer landed on the island,people have continued to go missing. The local authorities seem to think it's some animal from the timber forests in the south part of the island but I've heard of the whispers."  The other drunk man,Pablo, took a sip of his wine and rested his bottle before he said," Ay, i've also heard of the whispers. They speak of the prints of a bear in the place every victim died. The locals are panicking and think one the bears or a herd of it left their territory in the south where it's always cold. But it is suspicious that the incidents started the same day as Bjorn the plunderer's arrival.''  When Pablo spoke of his suspicions, I sensed a spike in emotion of worry that turned into hostility  from one of the haki users before he seemed to calm down and took a sip from his bottle. ' I see, a scout and a skilled one at that. He blends in well and has some form of observation haki, so he's good at gathering info. Not a bad idea and it seems like Pablo isn't stupid. That makes sense if I really think about it. After all, he had to have some level of intelligence to pull off many successful heists to earn the title of " The plunderer".' As I thought about that, I continued to drink my wine while keeping my observation haki locked on the spy. I also made sure to keep my ear out for any other mention of " The plunderer" from the two drunks ,but was bound to be disappointed as they moved on to talking about a different pirate that was insignificant in my eyes.
