Chapter TWENTY-FIVE (EXPOSURE)

Learning to forgive shouldn’t be an issue, at least not for Zainab. She was raised with love in her heart, too much of it, even. However, it was 2 days to her graduation, and she had been discharged from the hospital a day earlier yet, that jerk called Tristan was yet to offer neither an explanation nor an apology which she would have gotten out of him if he wasn’t avoiding her. She tried to focus at the task at hand; practicing her speech and pacing, the latter habit developed few minutes earlier. She took a second to examine the room which looked familiar yet felt strange to her, she smiled lightly; she was back home.

FLASHBACK

After her fight with Tristan, Adesua had walked in and comforted Zainab; knowing the kind of son she had, he wouldn’t open up completely till he was sure he could solve the problem but how could she tell that to Zainab? Instead she decided to keep the thought to herself.

“Zee? Is everything okay?” Adesua asked when she came in
