The Beginning Of A New Lifestyle

"Wake up Ellie we're here," Oliver said as he saw Elizabeth go back to sleep after they landed at their destination. "Elizabeth! Wake. up." He said annoyed as she ignored him.

"Mhh, I too tired walk. Carry me." She muttered while shifting her position on the seat to get more comfortable.

"Stop being lazy." He shouted, but the girl started snorting.

He shook her shoulders, but it was too late as she was already in a deep sleep.

Oliver felt a headache coming while Sebastian chuckled at the little girl's antics.

---

"Is this your house Mr. Sebasatian?" Oliver asked once they got out of the aircraft.

He was carrying Elizabeth on his back while Sebastian was next to him.

In front of them was a paved path that lead to a white mansion.

The mansion was on the side of a cliff and from Oliver's location, far off in the distance, he could multiple bright lights that looked like stars. However, when he closely he could see that those lights were actually towering buildings that pierced past the clouds.

"There is no need to call me sir, as I am your subordinate. As for this house, it is now yours. Your mother brought it recently, but she never got to visit it." Sebastian said as they walked past a water fountain that lit up with different colored lights.

Oliver stopped when he heard Sebastian's words and looked at him in confusion. There was a lot he couldn't understand and even if he knew his mother was working on something big for the last few years. Things didn't add up for him.

He had so many questions to ask Sebastian, but right now he only had one. As felt like going to sleep.

"Why would someone like you work for my mom. Although I don't know how strong, I know you're really powerful. So why work for someone like my mother who you could crush with one of your fingers." Oliver asked while admiring the beauty of the mansion.

Even if there was some type of explanation he could make for how she earned her money he couldn't understand why a powerful metahuman like Sebastian would work for her.

Oliver doubted it was about the money because there were other ways for him to get paid, and Sebastian didn't seem like that type of person.

Then he could also sense the hidden sadness along with guilt and worthlessness in him. Which made him trust the man more as it meant he cared for his mother.

He wouldn't directly ask the man the reason for all his emotions as they just met today and it would just bring up more questions, but he wanted to know how his mother could influence a man who had so much power when she didn't.

They walked in silence after Oliver asked his question.

Oliver knew Sebastian wasn't ignoring him, but taking time to really think about his answer and he found no need to rush the man as he would rather have an honest answer.

"Your mother saved me from myself." Sebastian said.

"Haha, I know It might sound weird to you, but she did." He laughed once he saw Oliver give him a weird look.

"Anyways, what she did for me is something I could never repay her for. So, I took it upon myself to work for her and protect her." He continued.

Although his answer didn't seem believable to Oliver he still accepted as he sensed the man was telling the truth.

"So, why help us. I mean it was our mother who helped you. You have no obligation to take care of me and Ellie." Oliver asked with a tone of suspicion.

Of course, he knew Sebastian had good intentions toward him and Elizabeth, but being brought up in a place where there was no free lunch he wanted to know why Seabsatin would take care of them when he had no obligation to.

Sebastian laughed at Oliver's suspicious nature while leading him to the last turn where the entrance of the mansion was.

"You know, I never knew she had children until a year ago. That's when things started to get worst and she knew she could die at any time," He sighed while remembering all the crazy things that happened. "She asked me to protect you guys if she ever dies and I promised her. Since she sadly did pass away and I am a man of my word I will keep my promise and take care of you. Of course, I have no experience in taking care of children. However, I will do my best to take care of you, young master." Sebastian said once they reached the door.

He slightly bowed to Oliver as the huge doors opened which revealed the inside of the mansion along with men and women lined up bowing.

Oliver couldn't hide his awe or surprise from seeing everything, but as he looked at all the people inside the house he felt concerned about Elizabeth and his safety.

Sebastian saw his young master's reaction and didn't hesitate to whisper in his ear.

"Although you have every reason to have suspicion towards them, I guarantee you that I have checked all of these men and women's backgrounds," Sebastian said as he saw the concern on Oliver's face. "They also have no clues on your identity as Madam Jessica's children and with me here you guys are safe."

"Alright," Oliver said somewhat reassured before they both walked into the house. He didn't know what his identity as his mother's child represented, but seeing as Sebastian said it was safe he lowered his guard a little.

As Oliver walked past the men and women dressed in maid and butler outfits he noticed from his divine vision that all the maids were blushing while staring at him.

He found it uncomfortable with all their eyes on him, but couldn't be bothered at the moment as he felt tired and wanted to go to sleep.

"Is there anywhere I can clean myself before going to sleep." He asked while walking up the steps to the second floor with Sebastian.

"Ah, Yes. These two will lead you two to your room and help you with any of your needs." Sebastian winked while motioning for two young maids to lead Oliver to his room.

Oliver was confused by Sebastian's action but he didn't care as he had another problem.

"Don't worry about the young miss, I will take her to a bed."He said after seeing the carefree sleeping girl on Oliver's back.

Oliver nodded before giving Elizabeth to Sebastian and then following the maids to his room.

It didn't take long before he reached his room and he couldn't believe the size of it when he entered.

'At least four times the size of my old one.' He thought while looking around.

The walls and ceiling were white while the floor was light brown.

There was a huge bed that could fit at least 6 adults comfortably and spiral stairs in the corner of the room which led to a balcony.

While sofas and three Holo TVs were in the middle.

Everything seemed grandiose to him as he lived in a simple house before this.

'I guess this will be my new lifestyle.' Oliver thought while following the maids into the bathroom.

Although it was around 8 o clock in the morning Oliver just wanted to take a shower before going to sleep as it was a routine for him.

However, when the two maids followed him into the bathroom things became awkward.

Both sides looked at each other in confusion until one of the girls stepped up.

"Umm ... will the young master need our... help to clean himself?" One of the young maids with a blush on her face asked while squirming in her spot.

"Huh," Was all Oliver could say at the girl's bold statement.

'Are they serious?' Oliver thought and he couldn't help, but blush after sensing their anticipation and excitement

'So, either I could be washed by two pretty girls or myself.'

Both sides were quiet as Oliver had to think very hard about his answer.

"Not today." He said and both of them bowed before leaving the bathroom.

Oliver could sense their disappointment however, he wanted to take a quick shower before going to sleep.

'So, that's what that bastard meant when he said take care of all my needs.' Oliver thought while remembering the wink that Sebastian sent him.

Oliver slowly took off his clothes and found himself looking in a mirror.

"A memory for all my mistakes huh," Oliver said as his finger traced over the multiple scars on his body before stopping over his heart which had the most recent scar.

'It feels the wierd.' He thought as he focused on his heart and the creator's words appeared in his mind.

Oliver knew that he was given a new heart by the creator, but he thought it was the same as his old one.

Until now that thought stayed the same, however now when he focused on his heart he notice something was off about it.

Although it felt similar to his old heart, he knew something was different about it.

"Well even if I did find out early and ask her she probably wouldn't give me an answer anyways." He voiced out before going to the shower to wash up.

He put his thoughts about his heart to the side as the creator said nothing about it and even if his new heart feels different now he was still alive. That was enough for him, right now at least.

He was amazed by all the different options in the shower and how there was a Holo Tv in there too however he decided to check all those options later.

When he came out of the shower there were some pajamas at the door which perfectly fit him, so he put them on before jumping in the bed. It was so comfortable that he felt himself fall asleep after a few seconds.
