Tears
Trish shaked her head afraid of what the doctor will say "I'll be with you every step of the way we will support you no matter what the doctor says" I said trying my best to reassure her that she's not alone. Trish sighed and nodded "I guess it's better to know the truth instead of assuming the worst" she said smiling a little bit at the end of her sentence. I nodded we didn't say anything we just walked up towards the counter. The lady behind the desk looked up from her computer then smiled at us "Hello what can I assist you with today?" I looked at Trish thinking she was going to respond. When she didn't say anything to the lady I explained the situation "Hi my friend here is concerned that she may be pregnant we just want to see if that is true or not" The lady nodded "I will see if doctor Oswell will take you today, If not we may have to schedule an appointment" I nodded nervously waiting to see if the doctor would agree to take Trish today. Sighing I looked at Trish making sure she was okay before I proceeded to talk with the lady "If possible Is there anyway we can get this done today?" I asked hoping we can do this today because I'm moving tomorrow and If Trish is pregnant I want to help out as much as possible. The lady sighed looking at her computer before looking back at me "I can squeeze her in by six o'clock today would that work?" I nodded "That'll will work" I said looking at the clock realizing that it's almost six. "Alright can you fill out these forms while you wait?" I nodded smiling "Thank you" I say taking the papers then attaching them onto a clipboard.
"Do you have a pin I can borrow?" The lady nods and hands me a pen "Gracias Senorita" she looked up at me and smiled before saying "De nada" I smiled kindly at her and took the clipboard with me to the chairs. Trish sat down next to me on my right Christina was on my left as well as, Toby, and my mom. Turning to Trish I asked "Do you want me to fill these out?" She shaked her head "No I'll do them" I nodded handing the clipboard and pen to her. Once she got the clipboard she focused filling out all of the questions. I looked at Christina and whispered "Can you get her a cup of water?" Christina nodded "Of course" She said walking towards the water fountain. I almost screamed when Toby jumped on my lap, I held my hand over my heart thinking it was going to suddenly burst out of my chest.
"Toby please don't jump up on me like that" Toby looked at me blankly "Why not?" I tapped his nose "Because you scared me" Toby looked sadly at me "Can we tell Tish and Chriseena" I nodded "We have to wait a little while longer okay" Toby pouted "But I wanna tell them now" I shaked my head indicating that it was not a possibility. "Tell us what?" Trish said suddenly "Oh it's nothing to worry about right now we'll will tell you when we get home later" I say looking at Trish. Trish nodded "Okay but you do realize i will keep bringing it up until you tell me what it is right" I chuckled "I know you will that's why Toby wasn't supposed to say anything before we left the doctor's office" Trish laughed "He's six years old you know he was gonna tell" I nodded my head in agreement "Yeah I kinda figured he was going to say something" Trish looked back at the paperwork she had to finished "Then why did you tell him the secret if you didn't want it to be told in the first place?" I laid back in the chair "I may have told him because he deserves to know I mean he's going to be an uncle at such an young age"
Trish stopped filling out the papers and stared at me then sunk back into the chair "Yeah he does deserve to know what being an uncle means and knowing when to help and when to let you suffer" I raised my eyebrow at trish then looked at Toby who's just confused by the whole conversation. Trish sighed "We'll i better go give them these forms it's like five forty five" I nodded "You think your gonna be okay if walk up there alone i kinda can't get up at the moment" I say she nods smiling "Yeah I'll be okay walking up to the front desk but your coming with me when they call my name" I chuckled "You got it dude" i said giving her a thumbs up not even a second later we both started laughing "Yeah okay Michelle" Trish says before leaving to go to the front desk laughing with every step. Christina finally walked back from the water fountain and sat down next to me.
"I guess she doesn't need this anymore" she said holding a cup of water in her left hand. "What took you so long?" i say tilting my head Toby gets off of me and sits down by mom. "Sorry it took so long first there were a lot of people in the line then when i finally did manage to get a cup of water i spilt it on a nurse so then i had to apologize to the nurse" Christina said sinking back in the chair "Shield me from this embarrassment for thou i have committed" I laughed "Let me guess you like theaters?" Christina shakes her head "No i love theaters" I smiled "Me too at my school well my old school i used to be in all of the plays and skits they would have us preform to the whole school" I sighed looking at the wall "I'm gonna miss that feeling" I say trying to hold back my tears. i looked back at Christina only to regret it because the next thing i know im uncontrollably crying.
"Awe it's gonna be okay Winter" Christina says rubbing my back as i wrap my arms around her crying until i couldn't cry anymore. Trish came back and hugged me from behind "Shhh it's gonna be alright cupcake" Trish says i laughed "Cupcake?" I ask pulling away from Christina to lean back into the chair Trish nodded "Yeah you know cause a cupcake could be sweet, spicy but overall its pretty tasty you will be a great mother" wiping my tears i sniffled "How do you know?" I asked "Because you have what it takes" she said smiling.
