First Elder speech wasn't loud but students still heard everything he said.

Shocked as they never expected one of the Elders took a student, who took 5 days to reach Juqi, to become his successor and it was the First Elder, the most prominent among the Elders.

"Unbelievable, the First Elder takes Sun Zhen. Isn't this a slap in the faces to the Senior class? Their talents are much better and stronger than him"

"Out of 30 people in Senior Class, only 4 people became disciples under the Elders. I heard that most of the students want to be under First Elder instruction"

"This is going to be the biggest news in our clan yet"

The students could stop talking about this and the place got more loudly than before.

First Elder then took out something and gave it to Sun Zhen. It was a golden ring and it had a simple design yet the black jewel made it stood out.

"What is the ring do?" He thought.

Before he could ask, the Elder walked away not too far from him and raised his left hand into the air.

Suddenly, a huge cube appeared and dropped down to the ground which caused a small tremor. The cube was 20x20 meters and he couldn't see inside as mysterious multi-colored walls blocked.

"Wear the ring and follow me" First Elder said.

Elder walked to the cube while Sun Zhen followed after wearing the ring.

As soon as they reached the wall, the Elder walked "into" the wall like Harry Porter's Magic Wall. Sun Zhen felt excited a bit when he walked into the wall like Elder.

*Inside the cube*

When he walked in, he was amazed as he saw the place. Instead of an empty field like outside, it was somewhere else.

Trees were everywhere around a clear path in front of him, those trees were over 120 meters tall and the leaves covered the whole sky.

"Incredible" The scene was a feast to the eyes and he felt so insignificant in front of those tall trees.

"You can enjoy the sight later, we don't have much time here" Elder told him after saw Sun Zhen froze.

"Okay, Laoshi"

After a few minutes of walking on the clear path, they reached a field of grass and there was a hut in the middle of the field.

"This is the training ground, you will be trained here for many years to come" Elder said as he led Sun Zhen to the hut.

"Today I will teach you how to bring out the Qi and use them"

As Elder opened his hand, a ball of Qi appeared and it was spinning very fast.

"This looks much better than Xiao Ying did" Sun Zhen thought.

"In order to release and use the Qi, you have to feel them first. Even if you can see the Qi after becoming Juqi, you can not feel it, do you?"

"Yes, I don't feel much different from my usual self. Maybe I feel healthier" Sun Zhen answered.

The Elder nodded and asked him to raise his 2 hands up.

"I will now give this Qi to you. Use the feeling on your hands to hold up the Qi ball until it disappears"

He then placed the Qi ball between Sun Zhen's hands and the feeling was there, it was like glue or something sticky around his hand as he was holding the ball up.

It wasn't just a new feeling, new info appeared in his mind.

"Kid, focus. Don't drop the ball" Seeing Sun Zhen not focused, Elder reminded him.

Sun Zhen decided not to bother about it and wanted to focus on "training".

Time passed and 20 minutes later, the Qi ball faded into nothing and Sun Zhen felt sore around his arm, the training was more related on how long could you hold it.

"Good, at least you can handle one. Now, I will give you two"

2 more Qi balls appeared on Elder's hands which made Sun Zhen sighed, at least let him rest a bit but he afraid that would cause disappointment from his LaoShi.

Elder then put the Qi balls onto his hands, one ball on each hand. The feeling was the same but he felt like it was way harder to keep the balance, not because of his sore arms but because the balls kept falling from left and right.

"Shit this is way harder" He kept moving so that the balls won't fall.

"Stop moving, only use the feeling to control it" Elder said while calmly meditating.

Hearing what Elder said, he stopped and tried to hold the balls but after 3 minutes, he dropped both of them.

"Don't worry too much, it's normal for this to happen. You have to get used to the feeling" He created another 2 and gave it to Sun Zhen.

The cycle of dropping and creating balls went on until noon. After multi attempts to hold the balls, his arms felt so sore and tired that he couldn't move the arms for a while.

"Come here, let me help you with the arms" After asking Sun Zhen to come near, Elder brought out something from the hut.

It was a small bottle with a red cover on the top. Elder then opened it and poured some kind of oil into his hand (Elder's hands)

"Give me your arms" The Elder started to massage Sun Zhen's arms. It was like a Grandpa and his grandson moment.

Sun Zhen saw Elder's hands and they were full of scars which he didn't notice until now.

"Laoshi must have a hard time" He knew those hands told stories of Elder's life that he couldn't imagine.

A few moments later, Sun Zhen didn't feel sore on his arms anymore and thanks Elder for helping him.

"Okay, you can go now and let your body naturally absorb Qi, your foundation is important so don't ever do that stunt that you did last night"

The Elder was talking about how crazy Sun Zhen absorbed Qi last night which Sun Zhen agreed, his body was almost breaking down after that and he wouldn't dare to that again soon anyway.

*Outside the cube*

Xiao Ying and some girls were having a girl talk while also mentioning about Sun Zhen

"What is his hobby?"

"Can you introduce me to him?"

"Is he and you are a couple? Because you always go to his place after class"

Do you know?! Typical girl talk ( I can not write this because I still don't understand how the "Girl Talk" work)

"No, we are just friend. Besides, he seems to be distracted by his thought a lot"

When they about to talk more, they saw a person walked out of the wall and found out that it was Sun Zhen.

"Sun Zhen, how is the training?" Xiao Ying walked to him.

"Fine, it was pretty hard at first but I am sure I can handle it after this...Your friends?" Sun Zhen pointed at the girls.

"Yeah, they are my friend. Xiao Yi, Xiao Er, Xiao San and Xiao Sì" After she introduced them to Sun Zhen, they happily waved their hands and said Hi to him.

(I feel bad for the girls so I gave them names in Chinese number from 1-4. Maybe I will use them for later chapters)

"Hey, when do we have lunch? I didn't have breakfast so I am kind of hungry" Sun Zhen asked.

"Our house doesn't have lunch but there is a restaurant, let go there" She then took his hand and led him away.

The 4 girls were awed as Xiao Ying just took his hand and ran away. Friend? Friend your mother!!! You guys acted like a couple.

"I never know that there is a restaurant in the clan"

"There are a lot but you always stay in your house, you have to know that my clan is so huge that it took more than half of the city. How about this, I will give you a tour"

The restaurant was near the class so there were many students and their table was attracting lots of attention.

"That Sun Zhen, the outsider that got to become an Elder's disciple...I bet that guy ask for a favor to become one"

"What can I get Young Miss?" A waiter came and asked Xiao Ying.

"Thanks, please wait for about 5 minutes" The waiter then came back into the kitchen.

While they were waiting, Sun Zhen and Xiao Ying talked about his training.

"Are the arms still hurt?" She asked

"Nah, the oil he used worked really well"

Suddenly a hand smashed onto the table and it belonged to a very muscular man. Surprised by the sound, people looked at their table.

"You are Sun Zhen?" The man asked

"Yeah?! And what do you want" He didn't back down and glared back?

"I hate your type the most. Because the clan owed you a big favor, you used that favor to become First Elder's disciple despite you are an outsider and it wasn't about your pathetic talent"

"That is Xiao Bao, one of the students in Senior Class. He is a mid-Stage Juqi and it took him 2 days to become a Juqi" One student from Sun Zhen class told his friend.

Despite his big appearance, Sun Zhen wasn't afraid because the guy wasn't scary as the Apes he faced.

"That none of your business and I will tell you this, I never ask for any favor" Sun Zhen said while making sure that his voice was loud enough for people to hear.

Xiao Bao was angry as Sun Zhen's face didn't show any weakness despite his appearance which he was proud of. Angry, the guy raised his hand and tried to attack him.

"Xiao Bao!! Get back or you will be considered as a clan traitor" Xiao Ying spoke up.

Usually, people forget that Xiao Ying's authority inside the clan was absolute and powerful because she rarely used her authority to do what she wanted.

Hearing what she said, Xiao Bao got back as he cursed himself on how stupid he was. He tried to attack the guy who saved the Patriarch's daughter and worse, it was in front of her.

"Xiao Bao, I hereby order you to never come near me or my friend ever again. If I ever heard anything about this again, you and your family will be kicked out of the clan"

Xiao Ying was ruthless as she gave an order that Xiao Bao would have to follow for the rest of his life.

"Calm down Xiao Ying, I know you want to help me but the punishment is too hard on him"

"Hum, I don't care, he got what he deserves. Now scam"

"Yes...Young miss" Xiao Bao bowed then ran away as far as possible.

The whole place went quiet as no one wanted to be her next target and they only wanted to have a peaceful lunch now.

"Here your food" The waiter then came with their food and placed them on the table.

"Here you can taste this, it is very delicious" She picked a dumpling and put it into his bowl.

"You eat as well" Sun Zhen picked the food.

The lunch was peaceful and no one bothered or talk about them during the lunchtime.

"Did you see that? Xiao Ying used her authority, that rare" A beautiful girl with a black dress said to other 3 guys next to her.

"She even goes to that extent for one man. Is she in love with that guy?" A young man, who had a ponytail hairstyle, spoke up after he finished the chicken wing.

"Maybe?! Who knows? What I care about is why First Elder chooses him as a successor, that guy talent isn't the best" The next guy was very tall as he was about 2m20 tall and his was extremely thin.

"What do you think?"

The beautiful girl asked the guy who sat in the middle but he wasn't focused on the conversation as he was playing with a paper that had the shape of a Crane (a bird).

"Hey, can you focus please?" The girl touched his shoulder.

"Oh sorry, what are we talking about?"

The guy was very handsome and his hair reached the shoulder. What more captive to the eyes were his eyes, his blue and attractive eyes.

"We are talking about Sun Zhen, the young miss's savior. Why are you always play with papers for and what do you call this?" The thin guy picked the Crane and looked at it.

"It called Origami" The handsome guy then brought out a piece of paper and tried to make a new Crane.

"As for the guy, Sun Zhen. Let see what he can do" He said as he just finished another Crane Origami.

They were the 4 Disciples and the elites of the younger generation.
