"Sun Zhen, it's time to wake up...You are going to miss your first class today" Xiao Ying said in a low voice while Sun Zhen still in bed.

"5 more minutes...Zzzz" It was his signature move when his mom woke him up and it worked really well but not for Xiao Ying.

Hearing what he said, she began to focus her Qi on the tip of her fingers then touched sides of his head.

After a minute, Sun Zhen opened his eyes like he already woke up a long time ago.

"That weird, I thought I had to feel sleepy" He asked himself.

"You should but thanks to my Wake Up technique, you can wake up immediately without feeling at all" She was very proud of her skill.

"Oh, thanks... I guess" He then asked her to go out so he could change his clothes.

"So what is this about class?" After done changing, he and Xiao Ying went out then he followed her to the place so-called class.

"Well, the class only for those who have reached Juqi and you are now a Juqi. My dad told me that you advanced last night"

"And what do they teach?"

"Usually some Mantra from the books and how to cultivate better or how to use your Qi. As for fighting, they don't encourage it until you are older because the clan don't want inside conflict, my dad set all those rules"

After 10 minutes of walking, they reached the class. The whole place was full of people same age as him or older, from 12-16 years old and looked like the class hadn't started as people still talked loudly and no one on the podium teaching.

"The class looked like classes from my old middle school" He saw nothing special about the place but seemed more lively than his old school where almost students hold phones in their hands.

As they went into the class, some students looked at them and started talking in low voices.

"Is that the guy who saved Xiao Ying in the Forest"

"Yeah, I heard that guy just reached Juqi stage so he joins our class today"

"The kid looks quite handsome"

"You want to woo him? Don't ever think about it. He is out of your league. 5 days yet he already reached Juqi"

The whole place was now whispering yet Xiao Ying didn't mind and still led him to 2 empty seats which reserved for importance students in the clan.

"Why they so surprise about 5 days to reach Juqi, I thought that it was like very talentless" He thought

What Sun Zhen didn't know that all the books that the clan gave were for the genius or special person, the methods in the books were rare, some were unique and not for everyone.

After they sat down, Xiao Ying talked to him about how she always failed test about reading and remembering Mantra poem so they won't let her go to new class.

"And you know the worse part about this, my dad encouraged the teacher to hold me back because I am too young and inexperienced about life, that what he said to my teacher" She complained.

"Yeah, Yeah I hear you. I will try to help you despite I don't know what we study" He said while promising her that he would help.

Not too long after they sat down, the teacher came and it was one of the Elder which known as 3rd Elder.

"Ok class. Today we have a new student, his name is Sun Zhen and he is outside our clan but treats him well. You all know the reason why he is here" The Elder said while organizing his paper on the table.

Of course, the class already knew about the reason a long time ago so no one question about Sun Zhen.

After Elder finished, he stacked the papers then threw them into the air. Sun Zhen was shocked as he saw the papers slowly flying to the students and one paper flew into his hand.

"Amazing. Aside from the effect isn't comparable to the movies but still, amazing" He thought.

On the paper was a set of Mantra that over 500 words and seemed like the students didn't like it as they tried not to cry.

"Remeber all of this Mantra in 10 minutes then we will test how much you can remember"

All the students started reading and tried to remember as many words as possible. Sun Zhen seemed to do fine as he was almost done with the Mantra thanks to his good memory.

He wasn't a genius on Earth but he trained his mind throughout all those years on playing and working with words and numbers.

*10 minutes later*

"Have you guys remember all of it?....No one? Cmon, that is Mantra is short and very catchy"

After seeing no one raised hand so the Elder thought that he should try with Sun Zhen first.

"How about you Sun Zhen?"

"Me?!...Okay" He was surprised that Elder called him but he didn't mind.

"The Star and the Sky is...There is no end, just a new chapter" He repeated the whole mantra without looking which made the Elder opened his eyes wide.

Even the Elder couldn't remember all of it, not alone a young man like Sun Zhen but he did and perfectly repeat all of it.

Xiao Ying started clapping her hand then the whole class followed and the Elder also clapped. Even if the Mantra was short, there was no one in the class could do like him, what more impressive that he was only here for the first day.

"Thank you, Sun Zhen. You can sit down"

He sat down while blushing a bit, he never thought it was a big deal because he even heard people do better than him on Earth.

After that, the class went back to normal and Elder started teaching about cultivation. The class went on for at least 2 hours then they got a small break.

"At least the class isn't about history or any irrelevant subject" He started remembering about how he went to school and classes which bored him a lot.

"Hey, what is the next class?" He asked Xiao Ying.

"Fighting class" She answered.

"I thought that fighting isn't encouraged"

"Yes, but we will be trained by the Elder. He will bring out a small percentage of power to fight us"

When the break ended, almost who are 12 to 14 left while the 15 years old students went with Elder to an open field, including Xiao Ying and Su Zhen.

"Why only 2/3 of our class left? I thought they are here to learn?"

"Those students hadn't become a Juqi yet"

"What? Seriously, I am confused what are the rules for and everything I asked almost opposite every answer you tell me"

"Those students are able to control Qi but if without breaking the First Gate, making them half Cultivator and it may take them 3-5 years to break it or there is a chance that they will never break it in their lifetime" The 3rd Elder was near them so he answered.

Then he continued

"If you are confused why the books that Patriarch said a week at best to become a Juqi, the books were for genius only so you are categorized as a genius. To be honest, 5 days wasn't impressive to any genius in the clan

Xiao Ying here became a Juqi after 2 days when she was 9 years old and it took 4 years to become a mid-stage Juqi"

On the open field, Sun Zhen saw many students had started preparing their battle against the Elder but he hadn't known how to control Qi yet so he sat this one out.

As he was about to sit down, the 3rd Elder came to him.

"I am here to tell you that someone is going to train you. He is there" The Elder pointed at a person in the middle of the field.

"I have checked the books, there isn't any method that could do that. Maybe the boy invented a new method" Xiao Yun was checking the books that he gave Sun Zhen.

As he was thinking, a person in the middle of the room.

"What are you doing here at this hour? You should go back to rest" Xiao Yun said.

"Patriarch, I have a request...I want to take Sun Zhen as my student and my 2nd successor" The person said.

"...Why do you want to? It not like the first one die or disappointed you"

"His potential that greater than anything I ever saw and I don't want his talent to waste on some random skills"

When Sun Zhen came close, the old man stood up from his meditation and walked up to him. The old man was over 2 meters tall like Xiao Yun.

"From today onward, I am going to train you to become my Art successor. You will be here every day when the class end and train until noon, you can have break days on the weekend only but if you want to learn more, you can call me.

My name isn't important but you shall address me as First Elder or LaoShi (Teacher in Chinese)"

On that fateful day, the Hero met his first and last teacher.
