ANASTASIA

I was in the dressing room, drinking more water than I should. But the nervousness was just too much. Suddenly dad came into the room with Mimi and Tia.

"Darling, you're gonna go away now. But just be clear, we arranged this marriage so you could live a happy life. It wasn't for anything else other than your happiness"

There were tears in my dad's eyes.

"I know Pa"

"We love you, hon" Mimi hugged me.

"Me too"

"Sia, I'm gonna get all the love now" Tia said, making us all laugh.

"Come now, it's time" Dad said arching his arm.

I interlocked my arm in his. I walked down the aisle arm in arm with my dad. I looked up the stage, there stood my husband-to-be, my boss. He looked more handsome than ever.

He was looking at me. I knew it was awkward for him to, but I kept smiling as I walked towards the stage.

Once there, I stood infront of Xavier. Celestia and Olivia stood beside me. Two other men stood beside Xavier. I didn't know them though.

The priest spoke, and Xavier took my hands in his.

"Do you, Xavier Evans, take Anastasia Harper as your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do" he said.

"Do you, Anastasia Harper, take Xavier Evans as your lawfully wedded husband?"

".....I do"

We said our vows to each other.

"I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride"

He swooped down and kissed me, just a peck. I looked down the stage, mimi and pa had tears in their eyes. And the old lady, who I assume was Xavier's grandma, was crying too.

Xavier extended his hand, which I took hesitantly and went down the stage with him.

I couldn't take my eyes off her, Noah and Adam were grinning.

I led her down the stage and went to meet our family. And introduced her to my friends and relatives.

"God bless you both" Anastasia's mother and father said.

"Thank you" I said

I then took her to Gigi.

"Oh, my pretty girl. You're beautiful" Gigi said, she was in her wheelchair.

Anastasia kneeled down in front of her, surprising me.

"Oh, but I think you're more beautiful"

"Oh girl, stop embarrassing me now, I'm Xavier's grandma"

"Grandma, I'm not embarrassing you, It's the truth" she smiled.

She was very sweet with my grandma, that was all I wanted from my wife.

"Grandma, can I call you Gigi? I call my mother Mimi, I would love to have a Gigi"

She shocked me, I called her Gigi and no one else. But I wasn't angry.

"Oh, you're so much similar to Xavier, he calls me Gigi, no one else, but of course you can call me Gigi"

She looked up at me, and then back to Gigi.

"Gigi, I think we're gonna be besties!"

"Of course we are" Gigi said happily.

"I'll meet you at home then Gigi"

"Okay my girl"

She stood up and looked at me. We had lunch together. Anastasia's friends and my friends teasing us. Ana's sister's name was Celestia. But she kept calling her Tia.

Noah became friends with Anastasia as fast as Gigi did. Mum and Anastasia had a different connection.

After the lunch, mother and dad said we had the whole day to ourselves. And they said the house was to ourselves too. Mother, father, Noah and Gigi were going for a movie.

I took Anastasia's hand and took her to the car. We didn't talk. Once in the car, I started the engine and drove.

"You have a beautiful family" Anastasia suddenly spoke.

"Yeah"

And that was all we said.
