It is finally the day of the training camp, I put on my Pokemon cap and run out the door to the lab where it starts. As I am running there, I see Ash, who is also my neighbor run in the same direction as me. I stop to say hi when I realize he is still wearing his pajamas. I ask him and he says that he was so excited that he forgot. The professor brings us to the resort in the forest where we will be sleeping for the next few days and tells us to pick a partner because 2 people will be living in a cabin. I wander around when I see a blonde girl who is reading a book on legendary pokemon. I went up to see what book she was reading and to my surprise, it is the exact same book about legendary pokemon that I have. I am so excited and ask her whether she will partner with me because I want to talk about the book more. We quickly become friends and find out that her name is Cynthia and she wants to someday see all the legendary and mythical pokemon in the world. Professor Oak brings us to the forest to show us all the pokemon and talk about different jobs you can have related to pokemon. We are walking when suddenly I hear a noise in the trees above us. I look up to see a bunch of Pidgeys diving straight towards us. I quickly run to the professor and tell him about the situation. He tells all the kids to go back to the camp while all of the people with pokemon stay and hold off the flock. I whip out my Noibat but quickly realize that I am the only kid with a pokemon. I tell Noibat to distract it when I see a kid who has fallen and has his foot stuck in a tree root. I rush towards him and push him away from the Pidgy who tried to attack him. I realize this is a good opportunity to catch another pokemon. I call Noibat back and tell him to attack that Pidgy. As soon as I see the wounds in its body, I throw my Pokeball at it and pray for it to work.

After what seems like an eternity, the Pokeball stops shaking and dings. I jump with joy and pick it up. I quickly store it in my inventory and run back to the camp.
