CHAPTER 3: The first years

I cried as I came out of my mom but immediately stopped as I saw a pink round creature that had an egg in its pouch. I grew excited and wanted to confirm my thoughts, They were confirmed as my mom said " Chansey, want to touch him?" I gasped as Chansey touched me and I felt a soft feeling enveloping me. " Your name will be Akira, Akira Sato" I felt surprised as that was my name in my previous life too. /ding/( Host, your stats have been updated)

I steeled my eyes and proclaimed in my heart, " I will protect my new family and get stronger!"

2 years later- I have learned how to walk and talk during these two years. I haven't been able to exercise but have focused on cultivating my energy, I can also harness psychic energy and use it to lift small objects so far but I getting more proficient in lifting heavier objects. Even though I haven't exercised, My stats have improved naturally and I have gotten noticeably stronger. I have also started to use aura and am now able to use it to read minds, but I am only able to read them for a few seconds before my head starts to split. I have found out that my mom, m is a nurse joy and my dad is overseas. He will come back next year and is a scientist focused on genetics, particularly pokemon genetics. I have gotten 3 missions so far, which were learning how to crawl, walk, and talk. From which I got 6 pokeballs, a health potion, and an ultra ball respectively. I am also trying to figure out all of the system options and features but am only able to find out that there is a lottery option, an inventory, a shop, and a status page. The shop requires pokedollers, which I have none now. The lottery requires tickets, which I can get as rewards for certain missions. There are 5 wheels available for now. ( the ranks are iron, bronze, silver, gold, and diamond) I will also get a beginner package on my tenth birthday. I am also currently working on a mission, learn all of the school materials and textbooks by professor oaks training camp. I will ask my mom after I turn 3 because I don't want to shock her by talking in complete sentences fluently.

3 years later- I have learned that professor oak's training camp will start in a month so I am getting ready by packing my things. I will also try to catch my first pokemon before then. I have already learned all of my school materials, which go up to fifth grade. I got a pokemon belt used to hold 6 pokemon as a reward for the mission. I have decided to wear it for the training camp. Fifth grade is also the time where you have to decide which road you want to take and choose a mentor or school you want to go to unless you want to be a pokemon trainer. I will go outside and try to catch a pokemon tomorrow. I have also started to exercise but haven't seen much improvement. I am not worried as I know that improvement comes slowly.

It is time to catch a pokemon! I ran down the stairs and out of the house before my mom had a chance to yell at me. I ran straight to the forest because I wanted to catch a starter pokemon, so it had to be a baby because I wouldn't be able to tame it as easily otherwise. I have been walking in the forest for 4 hours when I heard a noise from the hill. I examined it closely and realized that it was a hidden cave. I went in and save that It was full of small pokemon. As soon as they saw me, they cowered behind a larger pokemon, which I realized was a Pinsir. I quickly used my healing potion on it and as it regained consciousness, examined all the pokemon. I quickly deduced that the Pinsir was the one protecting the pokemon from other mean pokemon. They hid here and brought Pinsir here in hopes that it would recover. They were also starving as they hadn't eaten in days. I quickly gave them the berries I picked in the forest and watched as they ravenously gobbled it up. Pinsir awoke and thanked me. I asked all of them which one would like to join me on my journey to become strong and a pokemon stepped forward. It was a Noibat that seemed to have lost its mom to poachers. I quickly caught it with my Pokeball and left after saying our goodbyes.
