21 The Rendezvous (pt.1)

"I'm sweating already. Can you believe I'm sweating already?" Sabrina had been complaining about the humid Floridian heat since we'd left the hotel that morning, which ended up cutting our shopping trip short because, honestly, I think we all felt the heat a little too much. It was hot and humid in New York City, but we weren't exposed to the sun as much. In Miami, however, the heat was permanent, no air circulated at all, and the sun was constantly beating down on us. Thank god for my sunscreen habit.

"Same here, I feel like I'm going to get a heat stroke," Helena agreed while fanning herself with a coupon booklet she'd been given in one of the beauty stores we'd gone into. She grimaced once the fanning did more harm than good, because the only thing blowing back in her face was hot air.
