Chapter 45 : Thoughts

To Denver's suprise Mawson let the man leave as he had let the man escape the compound.

"seriously you let him leave why?" Denver asked as he turned towards him

"well I am not concerned about him I am more concerned about this informant" Mawson replied

"what about it" Denver asked walking closer to Mawson

"oh my god, oh my god" a loud yell echoed round the house disturbing everyone in it

"ohh ohh you guys killed all of them you guys they where officers why did you kill them this isn't good" Josie said as she headed upstairs

"we didn't kill all of them one left" Mawson said causing her to turn back

"it was bad enough that you killed the officers now you say one of them escaped that is even more worse" she replied

"well we let him leave and besides they don't bother me what bothers me more is of some one's betrayal" Mawson said as he stood up staring at the two of them

"what do you mean?" Josie asked

"place a call to each and every person who was paid for the job" Mawson said as he stared upstairs "you said Stephen was upstairs right?" he asked

"right he is upstairs "Denver replied "but he should have heard the commotions and at least come down to check" Denver added as he walked up the stairs and onto the second floor leaving Josie and Mawson downstairs

"so who is going to clean up this mess?" Josie asked

"the maid" Mawson gave a short answer shocking Josie as a frown spread across her face Mawson had drank half of her bloodstream rendering her unconscious and yet he still expected her to clean up this huge mess

"are you serious you knocked her out she is unconscious how di you expect a weak person to clean this up" Josie asked

"hmm fine I reduce them to dust and sweep it while you clean the blood off the ground hmm" he said looking at her

"fine it will be better than having to bury them and more stink free" she replied as she went into the kitchen to grab a bucket leaving Mawson with the first part of the job as he used his energy absorption to turn them into ash before blowing the ash out with his winds.

"I am back here is the br" Josie said as she walked in but soon stopped as she realized that the room was free of all the bodies and now it remained the blood which she was to clean

"you you argh I should've known" she said as she dropped the bucket

"I am through so it's your turn clean well "he said as he walked up the stairs remembering he had several unfinished businesses first he needed to the give skull of Topez to the Infinite 0ne and he still had the Amazonian lady he had captured he wanted to know why she had tried to stop him and also he needed to find out which one of these people spoke to the police and there was still detective Eugene who he wanted to know more about but he needed to attend to them step by step thinking of this he walked into a corridor meeting Denver and Stephen as they approached the stairs.

"we where coming to meet you" Denver said as he reached Mawson

" was there really a fight?" Stephen asked looking at them with disbelief written round his face

"how could you not hear the sound of the bullets" Mawson asked with an angered frown

"I was at the far end of the house sleeping so I didn't hear anything" Stephen replied

"hmm you could go help Josie with the cleaning" Mawson said as he signaled him to leave giving him privacy to speak with Denver.

"I need you to help me gather somethings" Mawson immediately said as he noticed Stephen had gone downstairs

"what are these things?"Denver asked

"help me find something that can take away a person's strength something that would weaken the person" he stated

"you want to use it on the Amazonian right" Denver asked

"exactly what I intend on doing" he replied

"well there is one way I know about the red pigison flower it will be able to do that " Denver said

"well I need you to get me enough of that flower" Mawson said

"you would only need one, the gas in the flower can weaken a person's nervous system therefore paralyzing them for about thirteen hours rendering the person useless for that long "Denver stated "any further than two flowers can lead to the person's death and I am sure you don't want that" he added

"what makes you sure of that?" he asked as he walked away heading back downstairs
