The crystal in Xander's hand instantly started to disappear, and soon he looked up at the two people in front of him whose expression had changes for the first time since they came here.
Their expression had changed for the first time since they came in, and their blank faces changed to a shock expression. Preety soon the male had an angry expression as he soon began to park out at Xander.
"What the heck did you do to that crystal". He barked out in a loud, booming and angry voice
"I was right here and I didn't do anything to your crystal, it just disappeared", Xander said in a confident voice that made the man even more angry.
"You walking pile of scum, how dare you talk back at me", the man said and he was obviously trying to control his anger.
"Pardon me for saying this but I am not a pile of scum", Xander said and he purposely let the anger in his voice be felt, since he was tiered if this man trying to form as I'd he was a boss.
"You pile of scum, how dare you", the man roared and raised his hand in the air obviously intending to hit Xander, but before the man's hand could reach Xander.
Xander was already prepared for a fight since the man didn't want to respect himself.
But before the fight began Xander and the man were stopped from fighting when, the female come between both of them.
And as for kelvin who was just watching the drama play out, thought that Xander was quit lucky seeing that a girl was so close to his behind.
While Alvin who was also watching thought that Xander had just made himself an enemy, and his thoughts were of how badly it would affect his future in the school.
"Marcus what do you think you're doing trying to hit a student", the woman said in a slightly angry voice and it seemed as if the man named Marcus was starting to calm down.
"But this little boy insulted me", Marcus growled out again.
"I know he was stubborn, but as the adult you should have had control over the kid rather than the other way around". The female said again.
"Okay you are right, I should have been more matured", the man said in a less angry tone. But just like a lawyer found something to use against his opponent, and now instantly barked it out like a dog.
"But that doesn't explain why the crystals just disappeared in that boys hands", the man said with a convincing point.
"I almost forget to tell you since you went hunting, all staffs were informed that after a while the crystals would explode, or just vanish due to their energy not being able to sustain the ability that was put into them", she explained to her but Xander could not help but drop a comment.
"Way to go Marcus, you just accused an innocent kid all for nothing", Xander blurted out quietly but it was Still loud enough for everyone else to him.
"Shut up already", Marcus instantly shouted and as quickly and as powerful as he could he gave Xander a hard punch on his face.
Xander staggered back a little before his face began to turn red due to the anger he was feeling, when he suddenly shouted.
"Marcus, I know it will be uncivilised for me to attack you just like that, so I challenge you to a duel". Xander said and looked at his hand for a glove, but he could not find any so he took a piece of cloth on one of the beds and wrapped it around his hand before giving Marcus a hard slap, and this one somehow resounded more than the slap Marcus's gave to Xander.
Perhaps it was the extreme level of quietness in the room, or maybe because it was just in their heads. But whatever it was, it certainly made a bang upon impact.
The whole room was dead silent, it was so silent that if a person was to drop a pin on the floor it would resounded across the entire room. The room's silent instantly disappeared when Marcus replied.
"Oh it's on boy, I am going to beat you so much that your mama won't even recognise you", Marcus barked out while heavy puffs if air were leaving his nostrils.
And just then Xander heard a notification sound from the system.

And Xander smiled even more seeing the new quest, as it only fanned the flames of his desire to beat Marcus to a pulp.
"Come on Marcus let's go", the female said but Marcus didn't listen as he got even more angry when he saw Xander smiling.
"NO,NO,NO". Marcus shouted our loud not caring if anyone outside the room heard him.
"Please just cal-", the female one again tried to keep Marcus under control but he only barked out more.
" I SAID NO",he barked out once again.
"I WILL NOT LET SOME CHILD DISRESPECT ME, THAT WASN'T NORMAL", Marcus shouted out loud again but somehow his anger reduced again.
" I will prove it", Marcus said and took out four more crystals and put it on Alvin's hand, he took another four and out it on Kelvin's hand. And he did the same thing for Xander.
"We will wait for as long as it takes for those crystals to blow up or disappear", he shouted as a matter of fact.
"Marcu-", he cut her of again.
"NO, We WILL WAIT", he barked out again and the female could only comply and after about thirty more minutes the crystals blew up on Kelvin's hand.
A few more minutes it happened again in Alvin's hand, and as for Xander he didn't wait for it to blow up before he started to absorb it.
But unfortunately one of the crystals still blew up, leaving him with just three which he quickly absorbed.

Xander finally understood what the female meant by they might explode, perhaps the ability was mixed with some chemicals which would explode after a matter of time.
And he was thankful that he was only thirty one more crystals, if he was not mistaken. But then another idea entered his head.
"Hey Marcus how about we make this competition a hit more interesting", Xander said with a smile.
"And how should we do that", Marcus replied in his between gritted teeth
"If I win you will have to give me four medium tier crystals", Xander said with a smug smile.
"And what it is in for me", Marcus replied with an interested look.
" And if you win, which you won't I will be I will be at your Beck and call like a slave", Xander said.
"And when do you want this duel to be", Xander asked, as for the information was very vital.
"Tomorrow in the training area, I want to disgrace you in public and i to have my new slave as soon as possible", Marcus replied
"Alright you're on", Xander replied with a smug smile as a reply.
