A new Resolve

Karmal started calling Shank with a soft and caring tone. Shank chuckled saying "Ah! Seems like my time has come.. am even hearing my junior calling me from the other side of the river Vaitayx. Haha". Hearing this Karmal was like "WTF 😒! Hey old man am not dead yet and I can't be killed that easily and please stop sounding so weak. I know you are hurt but u are acting like an injured dog. Seriously!". Hearing this Shank got back to normal and asked if it really was Karmal and they both greeted each other. Karmal explained to Shank what happened after he was awake and sighed again cause of disappointment 😞.

"Hmmm..." Shank replied to everything that Karmal had said. Karmal said, "Hey senior, I can sense a bit more amount of magic force from you than earlier and it seems like it's starting to settle slowly and is stabilizing. Are you perhaps evolving or something".

Shank replied in a proud tone "Huu.. huu.. huu .. what do you know, I was supposed to die from the magic excessively flowing into me but miraculously my body had absorbed the excess and started to change. Now am about to enter the stage of Dominant Beast. Well.., it seems like you are my senior now considering your development into a Dominant Beast before me😒".

Karmal was a bit startled by the way Shank was teasing him and said " Ha.. haha, Even though am in the Dominant stage am still not familiar with my powers and also very much unaware about things like magic and all. So, still, you are my senior, and am your junior😁. Even the experience I have in this world is also almost nothing as I forgot everything.".

While talking to each other Marjal was seriously thinking about what he felt when they were entering the building from the door. He immediately called Karmal

" Brother.. brother! Are you there can you hear me? ". Hearing the call of Marjal, Karmal immediately replied saying

" Brother, are you alright? How do you feel? And by the way, don't touch the fence of your cage it has a barrier magic that will hurt you.

Marjal then with a sarcastic tone " Brother you are talking about this barrier as if it's a great one but don't you remember the pressure barrier that we passed through to get here earlier?.

Hearing this Shank asked Karmal about who it was he was talking to and why he sensed some animosity from the smell. Karmal hesitantly said that it is a cat that is in the latent stage and he is the one he talked about earlier when he explained what happened. Shank got angry and said don't get too much associated with those nasty creatures because they are wicked and are mortal enemies of rats and mice. Karmal ignored the suggestion and said,

"ok.. ok.. calm down now senior." Shank calmed down and asked what is he talking about and then Marjal said" Brother the passage we came from contained traps, they are a pressure barrier that suppresses the people who enter the magic circle range, arrow and spike trap, and finally the golden knights which are having a core of level gold. I even sensed some people from the right path who are at bronze level and some weak human and beastmen children. They seemed like they were slaves, how cruel of them 😡".

Hearing this Karmal said" Chotto matte... Did you just say beastmen? " Marjal said" Yeah.. so what? " Karmal was very happy to hear it because he liked animals a lot and when he used to read the webtoons and webnovel in his past life he was very attracted to the beastmen. Karmal immediately got fired up and said "Senior! Brother!, we need to save them. We need to save every one of the human children and beastmen children who got trapped here and also escape with everyone in this lab ".

After hearing what Karmal said, the entire lab was filled with silence and suddenly everyone started laughing and said it was a lost cause as it would be impossible to escape here as there were traps, golems, and mainly that strong and cruel guard that beats up the slaves and torments the animals in the lab.

After hearing everyone saying such pessimistic things Karmal got very angry and yelled at them to shut up. then he continued to say,

"Do you guys not have a backbone or what, I am saying we are going out of here means we are going out. It doesn't matter who stands in our way we are going to escape from here and we are doing it along with the kids in the facility. Don't you remember how the kids treated us gently even though they were being treated that badly and they are staying strong even though they know they can't escape from here. I know that the guard is strong and we cant beat or escape from him when we are alone. But if we cooperate and try to escape together we can definitely escape from here even though it may take time, we will do it. Untill then whenever the scientist comes to experiment on us, I will make sure to grab his attention so that he will pick me every time."

Hearing him say that everyone was fired up and resolved to escape from there even it might cost them their lives, they decided to die trying. But, Marjal and Shank together said,

"Like hell, we will let you get experimented on" 

Then they both looked at each other and said "HUMPH".

Karmal said, "Don't worry guys because I think there is something that will allow me to get more powerful if I go through the experiment."
