You are my weakness

....

He leaned in further closing the breathing gap. As our lips met in the middle.

He kissed me like he knew exactly what he was doing and what it was it was working.

I fell onto the sad and he came over me. I wrapped my hands around his neck deepening the kiss.

Oh my heavens, I was kissing Blake Castle.

He pulled away to catch his breath.

"Cathy" he whispered

That's the thing, he kissed me thinking it was his girlfriend.

He pushed off me and started walking away. I layed in the sand and stared up at the stars.

I touched my lips and a smile crept its way up but faded after I realized.

He called me Cathy, referring to his girlfriend Catherine. He wasn't kissing me because he thought he was kissing me.

He kissed me because his hung up on his girlfriend and needed some sort of closure.

A tear slipped my eye. Even if he kissed me, he wasn't kissing me for me.

I feel so dumb. Why did I even kiss him back and enjoy it.

"Here you are, I have been looking for you" Amelia stood over me.

"Just leave me here to die in peace please" I closed my eyes ready to leave this planet.

"Stop being dramatic" she pulled me up.

"Are we going home now" I dusted myself off.

"Yes, I was getting bored here" we started walking. "Wait you dropped this"

She bent down and picked up a bracelet from the sand. It wasn't mine but could be Blake's. She handed it to me and I kept it in my hand.

We walked up to the car in silence and I got into the passenger seat. I waited for Amelia to get in. Once she was in she started the car.

"Hey Ava why are you so silent" she asked putting on the AC. "Did you not enjoy the party"

"I did don't worry" I gave her an assuring smile. "I am just tired"

We pulled up into my driveway.

"Hey Ava, sleep well okay. I will call you tomorrow" Amelia said before I got out.

I walked up to the porch and opened up the door.

"Justin are you home" i called out, but there wasn't a response. Maybe he went out.

I went up to my room and closed the door. I climbed into my bed and curled up into a ball. And fall asleep.

...

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing off the hook. I answered the incoming call.

"Hey Ava"

It was Justin.

"Hey" I yawn trying to wake up.

"Did I wake you up" I shouted over the phone. I could hear music playing in the background.

"Justin where are you? It's 3 in the morning" I sat up in the bed.

"At my party, do you mind picking us up"

"Us"

"Yes me and Blake. His got a flat"

"OK I am on my way" I hung up.

I slipped on my shoes and up an oversized t-shirt over. I jogged down the stairs grabbing my dad's car keys. And went out the kitchen door that led to the garage. I put the keys into the ignition and opened up the garage and pulled out the car.

I received a notification on my phone and checked it before driving off. It was from Justin with his location.

It wasn't far from home. I pulled up in front of the house and called Justin.

"Hey I am outside" I stood outside the house. I could hear the music playing and teenagers running on the lawn. Some of them were passed out.

I heard a tap on the window that startled me. "Open up" it was Justin

I opened the doors and Justin opened the back seat door dropping Blake in the back

"What's wrong with your friend" I looked through the rear view mirror.

Blake seemed passed drunk. He could barely keep his eyes open.

"He's drunk" Justin got into the front

"Cathy why did you leave me" He started crying out. "Catherine"

I pulled the car out and started driving in the direction of home.

"Guess what buddy, we going to visit her right now" Justin turned around and tried convincing him as if he were some 5 year old.

"Is he going to be OK" worries sweeped through me as I watched him. He held tight onto an empty bottle of vodka crying.

"Yes, just take us home" Justin assured me. "Besides you don't need to worry his not your problem"

"Yes you right he isn't" I chewed the inside of my cheek.

I pulled up into the driveway and switched off the car. Justin went into the back to pull out Blake, who was passed out already.

I followed them into the house. Seeing Blake like this saddened me.

He was still hooked on this Catherine girl. Whoever she is, she was going to pay for breaking his heart even if it hurts me.
