The weekend is here and those are my resting days, and I do practically nothing other than to play Call of Duty and watch football all through. My beloved Arsenal were not playing until the next day and no major matches were going on that wonderful Saturday except Chelsea which doesn't bother me one bit, if I had one wish towards the footballing community, it would be total extinction of Chelsea football, wiped out from the history books and never to be spoken of again, to put in plain sight, I hate the club. Don't blame me, blame my neighbours they infused the hate in me, always battering on how their mini London club are the best in the city, like how is that even possible? It had to take a russian oligarch, a self absorbing arrogant prick, fifty odd years and the decline of the great clubs of England for them to win an EPL title, and they come and lay claim to be in the question of the big boys, please. To compound my misery, the unimaginable happened in Munich 2012, a team like Bayern Munich that boasted the best players in each position had to somehow lose the UEFA Champions League Finals to a team that had to scrape through the knockout stages of the competition through some huge amount of undeserved luck in their own backyard. The undeserved luck went through with them up until that final because there is no logical explanation as to why a team will score in the 86th minute of a match after running the other team to the ground, by not allowing them a sniff at their goal post and pummeling them with numerous shots on goal will somehow concede with the only shot aimed at them and to top it all off they missed a penalty in extra-time, the god of soccer really favoured Chelsea that day. They went on to win the final on penalties, It was a sad for me, even sadder than the Paris loss in 2006, cos now my noisy neighbours wouldn't let me be at peace with their achievement, and rightly so they have the bragging rights , sadly I can't say that for my beloved team but hopefully, one day before I am laid to rest I will celebrate my darling Arsenal lifting the trophy with the big ears but for now I will have to contend with other achievements I have over them but that 2012 win gives them some kind leeway to sneak themselves into the conversation of England's top dogs, even as the rivalry between I and my neighbours had withered down the years, other Chelsea fans have taken up the mantle of being noise makers and being totally annoying about 2012, unfortunately for me that's the greatest achievement in club football, so until my club wins ours they will always have some sort of superior argument in that regard, even though I hate to admit it.

While reiterating abject dislike for Chelsea, I felt this sudden rumble in my stomach which would lead to suggest that it was time to refill my calories, which must have been expended a lot in my earlier rant, gush!! That club drains me in every way. So I pick myself up, put up something light along with some shorts and head out to the supermarket down the street. While doing this I was looking at other score lines from other leagues, I am a bet enthusiast, so apart from adoring football as a sport, it's also a source of income, in a country where there is massive destabilization and corruption, multiple sources of income are needed, and this source of income has been very helpful, I even earn more than my monthly salary most times even though I do make losses too, but you know what they say "no risk no reward". Here I am at the supermarket, head down to the pastries section, get some delicious looking snack, the cream donut seems to be my favourite, I am kinda addicted to it. Moved along to the groceries section to get one or two stuff for the house, bae would help me do justice to that, she loves cooking and I love eating, everybody does what they enjoy doing, everybody is happy and fulfilled. There was a long queue at the counter, and I sincerely hate queues, waiting lines, traffic and anything that would make me pause before allowing me proceed further. While waiting my turn, I reached out to check my investment only to find Dortmund losing, I was shocked. Dortmund had earlier taken the lead only to suffer some kind of capitulation which involved them collecting two red cards. At 3-1 the game was truly well and over, but I was just wondering where it all went wrong, Dortmund being the team with the best home record in the league are losing to the team with the worst away record. All these I was trying to process when I heard a certain form of ruckus ahead of me, look ahead and saw an ederly lady shouting on top of her voice to the cashier attending to her at the counter, the lady was ready to pull down the whole place and take no prisoners, I had to step in to see how I could resolve the matter because their impending chaos was stagnating my movement and seeing that Dortmund ruined my inflow of cash, I too wasn't in a good mood. Got to listen to the cause of the fracas and alas it something as minimal as change, there was no available change for the cashier to give the lady and she wanted to turn the supermarket to Pearl Harbour. Fortunately for all parties concerned, I had some change and I decided to give the ederly lady and she set about on her way to cause more violence to wherever her compass points her to, me on the other hand wants to pay for my goods and continue with the rest of my day which has already been wrecked. The cashier was very grateful for coming to her rescue, and she was very friendly but I wasn't interested in whatever gesture was thrown my way, I collected my things and went my own way.
