The Path of Men
Believe it or not, you have a Spirit in eternity. How does it feel to know and live in the reality of your Spirit? The battle of Light and Darkness, good and evil has been an ancient battle that has continued and seems neverending. Humans continue to flourish in their world while wrestling with their idea of good and evil until they are thrust into a different level of warfare, that not only determines their life but also the human world. A larger stage has been set that now allows humans to fight and turn their world in the direction they want, either towards good or towards evil. "Nicos, seemed useless because he has weak and underutilized Spirit root which makes him not to gain entrance into the Spirit Realm, never stopped fighting - he kept on pushing, carving a path for himself even after he had been banished alongside his family to an unknown region that seemed to have sealed their fate. Weathering the storm alongside his entourage as they also play their role in the turning of their world to determine the final winner." Light or Darkness; either good or evil. Only one can be king, both can't seat on the throne. Only one side can be crowned the winner. Which will it be?
Meeting Once Again
"I have meet with the receptionist and asked her to help contact Tamika." Alfonso said when he entered their suite. "In the mean time, you all should retire to your room, I and Nakita will talk to him."
"Can't I stay with you while you both are discussing with him?" Milota asked
"We can't afford to leak anything that will give him a lead to your father and to us." Alfonso replied
"Just stay in your rooms, we will call you when we are done." Nakita said.
Nicos, Tabitha and Milota did as they were told and went to their room with Milota going into the same room with Tabitha.
Alfonso and Nakita sits on the couch with their eyes half close, relaxing while waiting for Tamika. Not long later, they heard a knock on the door.
Nakita stand up pulling his hood up and answer the door, when he opened the door, he saw the same man they met when they first enter the Spirit Realm from the Forgotten Region. Looking at him in detail, he has an average man look, he is 5"8 feet tall with a well proportion physique.
He has a broad face and brown hair which is properly styled, looking gentlemanly in his tailored Italian style suit similar to the one he wore when they first met at the City gate.
"We meet again Mr. Nakita." He said.
Seeing that they still have their hood up and not willing to show their face, he decide not to make any comment that will make them feel uncomfortable.
"Thank you for granting us an audience, we know you are a busy man and we are asking for too much from you after helping with an accommodation when we have nowhere to go." Nakita said while ushering Tamika into the suite.
"You don't have to be too polite with me, there's something special about you all the moment I saw you then and I am hoping to gain something good by getting close to you." Tamika replied with a smile on his face.
"We will try our best to fulfill you r demand whenever you need our assistant as long as it within our capacity." Alfonso replied.
"Of course I won't be an unreasonable fellow and ask for too much from you." Tamika replied
"How have you all been?" he asked, "it been over a month since the last time we met. Hope you are enjoying your stay?"
"Thank you for asking Mr. Tamika, we are fine and hospitality of your staffs is top notch."Nakita replied
"I'm glad hear a good remark about my staffs from you. How about the little ones?" Tamika asked looking around when he couldn't find Nicos and Tabitha around."
"They are in their room relaxing." Alfonso replied, "thank you for asking after them."
"You are welcome." He replied.
"Enough of the small talk. I was told you want to see me for some important matter and I'm sure it not about you wanting to thank me right?" He said.
"You are very correct Mr. Tamika" Alfonso said after they all sat down in the sitting room of the suite with a crystal clear table sitting neatly in the middle, "we might be burdening you with another favour we hope you will be able to fulfill."
"Well I will surely be getting something good in the long run as long as I'm close to you. A boon is sure to drop on my lap sooner or later." Tamika replied, "So what is the thing you want to ask me?"
"Due to some reason, we are unable to join the Adventure team or guild nor are we able to create one ourselves, therefore, we are hoping you can help us to exchange the resources we gain in the wilderness with the ones we need."Nakita said
"I know you want to protect your identity. But for how long?" Tamika said a short silent
"We don't know yet, but we will know when the time comes." Alfonso replied
"Don't worry, we are not hiding our identity because we want to do something hideous, it is for a reason best know to us, one which we cannot share."
"Okay, I can do you this favour, but I will requesting for a favour from you later after the preparation is complete I will let you know." Tamika said, "Don't worry, it something you will be able to handle and it will also be a blessing for you too."
"Okay, as long as Mr. Tamika can assure that it won't cause us to be in any form of dange, we will agree to help when the time comes." Alfonso replied
"Thank you for willing to help us while not asking too much about our identity." Nakita said
"This is a business transactio , though I am curious about your identity but I understand if you still want to keep it a secret." He said, "I am looking forward to the day I will discover your identity. Hopefully it will be on a good occasion."
As he was standing up to prepare to leave, Alfonso and Tamika also stand up with him.
"I will send someone to ask for the things you will be needing and the person will handle it on my behalf and I will also leave you a means to contact me directly in case there are things you need me to help it." Tamika said as he was to the door.
"We appreciate you help a lot Mr. Tamika." Alfonso said.
"It's nothing. This is how we should do things in the Spirit Realm – helping each other, that way we won't have to wait for too long to achieve a lot of things." Tamika said.
"You are right Mr. Tamika but not everyone share the same philosophy with you." Nakita said.
"And that's why we are in the position we are currently." Tamika said, "I will take my leave now. See you some other times."
"Good bye and thank you once again." Nakita said. Tamika wave off before leaving the room.
After closing the door and making sure Tamika is not of range Nakita said "that was really exhausting."
"We can't ask for any less." Alfonso replied him, "Let's call the kids out." He said contacting Milota and the rest through his tactical watch.
A while later, the three came out of the room with the Spirit beast trailing them.
"How was it?" Milota asked
"We were able to make a deal with him without exposing much of our identity." Alfonso replied
"Beggar ain't choosers" Milota said
"He will be sending someone to help with the supplies and we will set off after that."Nakita said, "So you all just have to wait and we will be off to the wilderness in no time and you both will be seeing another side of the Spirit Realm." Nakita said looking at Nicos and Tabitha who look excited more than they were anxious.
