Chapter 57

I watched the girls practice for a long time. Some girls had their clothes unadjusted, their high heels almost made them fall.

After that Mr Alvin told everyone to rest a little and the models happily retreated down the stage.

I took my phone out to see the text I had not replied back to Fabian. "Surprises" I thought. "I wonder what kind of surprise he'll show"

Fabian had left for work. He couldn't wait for the day to come. He drove off with a smile on his face. He went to his office and started work.

After a break, the models went back to the stage. They put on different outfits to know how to wear them on the day. I did nothing but sit and watched them work the stage.

Finally we could go. Mr Alvin asked me to follow him back to the office. He reminded me that I have to be there too for the show.

"And," he paused. "Try not to stand under the stage lights."

I laughed. "Okay."
