A Fragment.

“We meet again,” Vincent narrowed his eyes as his gaze fell upon the blue fragment resting atop his palm.

The blue fragment shook. Scintillating lights flashed within its core before it started to levitate out from his palm. Illusory tentacles materialised around Vincent. They shot towards the fragment and encircled it in the form of a net.

Thump! He clasped his hand and sealed it inside with utmost dominance.

Thump! Thump! Thump! His hand shuddered until it eventually stopped.

He unfurled his fingers; the illusory tentacles were coiled up together in a bundle, and enclosed within was a blue fragment lying dormant at the centre.

Vincent picked it up and moved it close to his face, “Such mysteries.”

“Master!” Shyreiana dashed next to him and glanced at the fragment in curiosity. “Is...this?”

“Shyreiana,” he pointed at the nearby creatures sprawled on the ground. “Kill them all and see if they have anything similar.”
