Chapter 117: It's a Schooner
Timothy found himself excited to get up the next morning. He suddenly had something in his life that was just his, and the outcome depended entirely on his will. It was a sense of purpose and desire that he had never known. He got up at the crack of dawn, dressed, stuffed his face with a couple of scrambled egg burritos and rushed over to Sam's house. With a need to earn the money she had offered him, he gave a hundred percent of himself to the work: from pulling every door in the house, sanding, staining and re-hanging them, to removing all the old shingles off the roof and installing a more modern simulated wood shingle roof with solar cells woven into them.
