Chapter 116: Timothy and Joy
That fall, Timothy attended his first day of school. He was enrolled in fourth grade with children who were a couple of years younger than him. They considered homeschooling him for another year to allow him to catch up with children his age, but the therapist felt the sooner he learned to socialize with his peers the better he would adjust. Timothy himself was not crazy about the idea until he learned that Joy, Linda's daughter, who had been the only child in the neighborhood interested in being his friend, was going to be in the same class.
