CHAPTER EIGHTEEN:REPEATING WHAT SHE DID IN THE PAST
All through the drive Enzo did not talk to Cain, he felt like he owed him no explanation, after all he was his boss and he decides what happens.
He knew there was something more to Christie and Avianna's friendship that he hadn't figured out yet because it was so obvious, the way the tension was hanging in the air and the way Avianna's hands were shaking all the while.
He still couldn't understand why her hands were shaking through, was it shaking out of fear or anger? That, he will have to find out soon.
If there is one thing about Enzo he is a very sensitive and observant person, so he had noticed every expression Avianna pulled out there though she tried to control herself, but it didn't work on him.
Enzo wondered what Cain was thinking about because he was unusually quiet but one thing he couldn't do was to put down his ego and ask him.
He knew Cain didn't like what happened there, but he just can't figure out why, he thought Cain was on his side. Cain understood better than anyone what the queen's family had made him go through so he didn't understand his attitude right now but nevertheless he has decided not to ask him about it.
He was in a very good mood and didn't intend it to be ruined by anybody, not even Cain.
It was a fourth minute drive with absolute silence as Cain drove in the parking lot of Enzo's building. He got down from the car to go get the car door for his Boss when he almost bumped into him.
"Sorry Boss I didn't know you got down already"Cain apologized with his head bowed.
"Is ok, you can retire for the day" Enzo said to Cain with an assuring smile and left for the elevator.
Cain bowed again until he made sure Enzo had entered the elevator.
Cain threw a fist in the air out of frustration and loosened his tie because he felt like he was suffocating.
What the f**k was Christie doing with Enzo?.
Cain was fuming with anger, he got back into the car and sped off immediately. He needed to talk to Christie as soon as possible, he didn't know how she got caught up in this whole mess but whatever she was doing with Enzo was dangerous. Enzo was not someone she could mess with and go scot free.

Avianna stood at the garden for more than twenty minutes trying to get back to her normal self, a lot was really going on in her mind, many unanswered questions but she still had a reputation to keep because the party was not over yet.
But she had to leave the party, she didn't want more dramas, and who knows a lot more could still be stored for her. She needed an excuse to leave the party, because she still has to talk to Christie before she tries anything stupid, she knew exactly how crazy she can be.
Avianna tried as much as she could to calm herself down before stepping out of the garden because the anxiety was all over her and she didn't need anyone to notice it.
Thanks to Stacy who never forgets to add a mirror and small makeup in her handbag which was really useful right now, she brought them out, looking at herself from the mirror she saw how mirable she looks.
Avianna touched up her face with the little makeup she had in her bag looking at herself in the mirror with a satisfying grin on her lips, at least that would do for the meantime as she finds an excuse to get the hell out of there she thought to herself.
Avianna stepped out of the garden and saw Stacy whose face looked worried and scared so she had to get to her to know if everything was ok. she tapped her at the back from behind which startled her.
"Oh my God Anna where have you been" Stacy asked worriedly checking Avianna's body to make sure she was ok. "I have searched this whole place for you, I was even going to call the police and alert the search party, I can't even imagine what Mr Gu was going to do to me if he found out I let you out of my sight for a sec"Stacy half scolded Avianna.
"Calm down Stacy you are shaking and am fine so now take a deep breath and stop freaking out"Avianna assured.
"Speaking of Gustavo, where is he Stacy , I need to leave now because I am not feeling too well, ''Avianna said to Stacy, who pointed to the direction where Gu was standing and talking to people.
Avianna went straight to Gustavo and whispered something to his ear which made him turn to take a proper look at her.
"What is the problem Anna?'' He asked , acting worried.
"Like you care"?Avianna scoffed "I don't think I can still be here, I need to go home now is a kind of emergency" she said.
"Anna, how possible it is for you to leave a party that was hosted for your sake because of a stupid goddanm emergency, everyone here came for you so what impression do you want to give them" Gu said, trying to make sense.
Avianna bit her lips trying to find more convincing excuse when one popped into her head
"Like I said before it is an emergency but since you insist on knowing, I am on my flow and would be stained any moment from now, will you take responsibility for the embarrassment it will cost me"?she lied.
"Oh….that? I didn't have any idea, ok fine you can leave I will cover up from here but..on one condition" Gu replied.
"Let's hear it,"Anna responded.
"Stacy goes with you because if I could still remember clearly the last time she left you all alone you hurt yourself which made me delay the shoots for E Model Management for their cosmetic advertisement and the shoot was almost taken over by Trixie, I won't like that to repeat itself" Gu said
"Ok fine" Avianna agreed.
That wasn't much of Avianna to agree with me over something without an argument first Gustavo thought but waved it out immediately since she said it was an emergency as he mixed up with the crowd he was talking to before.
Avianna signal Stacy to follow her immediately.
If there was on thing on her mind right now that is to stop Christie before she does something stupid even if it means repeating what she did in the past.
