#38 Expected Visitors

The next day, Suki received her team and headband. I secretly watched hera new Sensei Inarai Inoichi take his test and Mew took him down with psychokinesis alone. I saw this as a good sign for Suki's safety. Her other team members were her friends Wendy Inuzuka with her ninja dog Daisy and Botan Aburame. I think Aunt Tsunade had the final say on her team selection. In any case, the three of them passed and Suki, Shizune and I celebrated Suki's start into ninja life that evening with a noodle soup from Ichiraku. And the next day was Hinata's birthday. I gave Hinata the Naruto doll and my sister gave her a compass that always pointed in the direction Naruto was currently in. And for Hanabi's gift, I personally picked up Naruto, so he could be with Hinata on her birthday. I told Hinata to walk from one end of the room to the other with the compass in her hand to test it. And she noticed that the needle of the compass quickly changed direction to the target, which of course told her that Naruto was nearby and when she ran out of the room and saw Naruto standing in the hallway, she immediately started crying and ran in Naruto's arms and kissed him tenderly and we all spent the evening together in the Hyuga clan. Naruto then stayed the night with me and Hanabi in the guest room of our house, as Naruto canceled the contract on his apartment while he was away. The next morning we all had breakfast together.

Naruto: Thanks for bringing me here to celebrate with Hinata, Sato.

Sato: You were Hanabi's gift, so you have to thank her. I already got my reward for this from Hanabi.

Naruto: Ok, then thanks Hanabi.

Hanabi: I'm happy to do that Naruto, besides Nee San missed you and the fact that you were here, cheered up Hinata.

As the two talked, I sensed a strong chakra signature moving through Konoha.

Sato: I'd like to talk to you two further, but I need to check something quickly.

I stood up from the dining room table and disappeared before their eyes.

Naruto: Does he have something important to do?

Hanabi: He didn't actually mention anything?

I flew into the middle of the village and saw a blonde boy standing on a chimney who looked very similar to Naruto, only he was wearing black and red clothes and next to him was a man with long black hair and an eye patch over his left eye and weared black clothes with a long cloak and another boy with short brown hair, a short brown shirt and long black pants that were very wide on the legs and had the Senju clan symbol on a side pocket.

I called out to them from the air.

Sato: Hello, what have we there, I see one of our clan symbols on your pants, boy, but I don't know you, even though I'm the clan leader and should actually know all the members of the Senju clan!

All three turned to me with panicked looks.

Boy: (That's father! That's the worst thing that could have happened to us, what do I tell him without him noticing that I'm lying.)

Sato: Is that so? And why does Sasuke wear a pirate eye patch, my son?

Boy: I think dad caught us guys?

Boruto: Hello Uncle Sato, my name is Boruto Uzumaki. You look just like Hanato.

Sato: He is my son, which of you two is stronger?

Hanabi ran to him and hugged him.

Hanabi: You're so tall and you look just like your father.

Hanato: And you're smaller than I remember, mom, and a few things are different than usual, but I shouldn't tell you about them. Our house also looks completely different.

Naruto: And that's mine, so me and Hinata have? Cool tell me, am I the Hokage?

Boruto: Funny, in the future you got along much better?

Sasuke: That's because, he won't be such a child in the future.

Sasuke drew his sword.

And I hit both of their heads.

They both had big bumps and apologized to me.

Naruto: Is Sato stronger than us in the future?

Sasuke: We don't even have a chance against him together and we're both one of the strongest shinobi alive.

Naruto: Damn, so I can't even beat him in the future.

Boruto: (Dad behaves so differently than in the future.)

Hanato: (I shouldn't interfere, otherwise I'll be next, mom and dad haven't changed at all.)

Sasuke: Whatever, we have more important things to discuss.

We telled the others why the three came from the future and Hanabi asked:

"So this Urashiki wants to fish for Naruto's chakra and he can use his fishing rod to pull other people's chakra out of their bodies?"

Boruto: Exactly and we don't know exactly how to defend against it.

Sato: Didn't you ask me?

Sasuke: You said we should find out for ourselves.

Sato: I probably wanted you to go back in time, so that nothing changes.

Sasuke: So you know the answer?

Sato: You just have to protect your chakra with a seal, haven't either of you dealt with seals yet?

Sasuke looked guilty at the floor.

Sato: I'll give us all a seal and then that guy shouldn't be a problem anymore, right Sasuke?

Sasuke looked at me nervously.

Sasuke: You know, my chakra takes quite a long time to regenerate.

Sato: Then why don't you swallow chakra pills?

Sasuke: You know, I've been traveling a lot and I'm strapped for cash and these pills are really expensive.

Sato: Surely, but Sakura will be together in the future with you, right?

Sasuke: Yes, she is.

Sato: Then why don't you ask her for pills, she learns it from Aunt Tsunade?
