The Multiverse Traveller

*WARNING* *WARNING* Firstly let me get this out of the way. I've already dropped 2 other fanfictions so please don't expect much. If people who have read my other works read this as well, I am deeply sorry if I drop this cause it shows I haven't learned my lesson. Apart from that, there will be no/NADA/ZERO R-18 nor Harem content in this novel there is already enough of that on this site so I don't think you need it again. Apart from that for now I am stockpiling chapters so release rate won't be regular. BE WARNED. Every 5 billion years a tournament was held, a tournament to bring rise to a Great God. The existence of such a being could bring a race to prosperity while the loss of one could bring it to its knees. Humanity had been losing for many many many years. This was already their 629th loss when they picked Jin, the man who would be their champion who they put all their hopes on. "I may die at the Grand Races Tournament but before that, I'll try my hardest, not just for myself but for all of humanity." That was his resolution that led him to the top.

Chapter 33 Questions That Can't Be Answered

Note: Btw if you read the last chapter or not it's your choice, but I suggest it anyway. Oh and I got preoccupied with school so sorry for the late upload.

"What happened!?" Jin asked as he got up with a jolt. 'God my body hurts.' He thought as he looked around. Currently he was alone in the room with only a single guard sitting by the bed. He was currently sleeping as he sat on the chair.

"YO!!! Can you go call for your boss?" Jin asked as he woke up the guard. Immediately the guard was surprised as his eyes flashed open. "OH YOU'RE AWAKE!! SORRY FOR SLEEPING! I'LL CALL EM NOW!!" The guard said as he rushed out hoping Jin won't be mad.

'Well at least it seems things didn't go too bad.' Jin thought as he snickered a bit. "Agh." He complained as he clutched his ribs. 'I probably shouldn't be laughing.' Jin thought as he calmed himself down.

Soon Kai came through the door. "So you're awake." Kai said as he gazed at Jin. "Ya, what happened? And how's Eri?" Jin asked immediately.

"Tch, well you've been asleep for about 3 days, and everyone in the Yakuza is fine, we've even kept out territory and even expanded a bit. After you were knocked out, we somehow made it all the way back to Grove 29 with no casualities, Eri woke up about 2 days ago, and she's been fine physically ever since." Kai explained.

"....Good to hear, but why didn't you just overhaul me?" Jin asked as he tried to get up. "Last time I checked I could only cure physical injuries not mental overload." Kai answered as he shook his head. "Then why am I still in pain?" Jin said as he looked at Kai like he was an idiot.

"....Piss off." Kai said before overhauling Jin, and walking off. 'That bastard, I forgot something so small but he still complains.' Kai thought as he walked away. As he reached the door though he tapped the guard standing there.

"Lead him to the child." Kai said before leaving. 'Damnit no matter how many times he overhauls me the pain is still excruciating.' Jin thought getting up and looking at himself for a bit. 'Surprisingly I didn't lose much weight.' Jin thought as he realised something. "Ha, with all that energy it must have been impossible for me not to have any spare." Jin said before looking to the guard.

"Now can you lead me to her?" Jin asked. "Y-Yes, sir I am sorry for the delay!" The Yakuza member said before leading the way to Eri's room.

"Knock-knock."

Jin knocked as he waited for a reply, after about a minute he opened the door after dismissing the Yakuza member.

Inside he saw Eri, sitting on her bed as she clutched her knees. "...You're awake!" Eri said as she smiled briefly. Seeing this Jin smiled as he walked towards her. "Yes, but why're you so down?" Jin asked.

Hearing this Eri sat there for a bit without saying anything. "...I heard what happened. Did-d, I kill everyone there?" Eri asked with some apprehension. Jin was a bit stunned hearing this. 'Why the fuck does she know these things who told her?' Jin thought as he got irritated.

He soon calmed down though as he answered Eri. "No, of course you didn't, everyone there had long left before." Jin reassured her. "But then, what about Sam?" She asked. "Who's Sam?" Jin asked back.

Eri's expression immediately worsened when she heard Jin's reply. After a moment of silence Eri looked at Jin in the eye, and opened her mouth. "Then can you take away my power, I don't want them anymore." Eri said as she looked at Jin with a bit of hope.

Jin feeling like he was in a tight spot smiled awkwardly. "Look Eri, I can't do that." Jin said as he shook his head. "But, why?" Eri asked with some sadness. "Eri, what I am about to tell you is something very important, a great man once said, with great power comes great responsibility, so you have to be responsible." Jin explained as he gazed at Eri.

"Great responsibility? But,.... I am not an adult wouldn't an adult be more responsible?" She said as she tried to convince Jin. 'Well I am less responsible than Izuku in terms of using my powers so that's inaccurate.' Jin thought as he looked to the side.

"Both powers?" Jin asked to make sure. "Mhm, they've both only done evil things." She replied as she touched her horn.

Seeing Eri like this and hearing how much she wanted her powers gone though, Jin finally caved in. 'This will be detremental in the future, but fuck it, it's better for her now.' Jin thought before putting his hand on her forehead.

"Fine." Jin said as he began to use All For One. Immediately he perceived Eri's dantian and could see 2 orbs of light. One grey evil looking one and another blue light similar to his own. 'What am I doing, how will she protect herself from now on?' Jin thought as he hesitated a bit before realising something.

'I can always do that.' Jin thought as he fiddled with the orbs of light, before stopping his usage of All For One. As he did so he moved his hand away and looked at Eri's head. "My, horn is going away." She said as she tried to feel it.

"T-Thank you Jin." She said before hugging him. "Mhm, no problem, just don't cause trouble for the men outside okay?" Jin said as he hugged her back. "Yes." She replied before pulling back.

Soon though she reverted to her formerly depressed although less depressed this time. "So, is Sam really gone?" She asked again. Hearing this Jin shook his head. "I've never seen nor heard of a Sam, and even if you met one, he probably left you behind and ran away." Jin set it straight.

"So, he wasn't my friend?" Eri asked again. 'This shit never ends!!' Jin thought as he tried to sort out Eri's problems.

On the other side of the wall one could see Kai listening in with a cup to the door. 'Hahaha, karma's a bitch!' Kai thought before leaving to do other duties.

Soon he reached another room, within there was the rest of the Yakuza members apart from a few who were patrolling the facility.

"Damn, I still can't belive you made this place in a day boss, but when are out quirks or whatever going to be activated?" A Yakuza member asked. "Soon just be patient." Kai said before sitting on the head chair at one end of the room.

Far, far away from all this 2 men stood in a white and black void. "Azizi why did you get involved?" An old man asked as he stroked his long white beard. "Hmm, cause why not? Don't we need new challengers anyway, and this way it'll be more interesting." A dark cloaked man said as he chuckled within the black void.

"Azizi, you may be the man closest to True God, but that doesn't mean you can play around as you wish." The old man said. "Hahaha, oh calm down Zubin you've only been a God for like 40 billion years right? Are you already getting bored?" The man who was presumably Azizi asked.

"Hmph! Whatever for a man who's lived for nearly a trillion years, it seems mentally you're still a child." Zubin said as he shook his head. "Whatever I can still beat you with one finger, or do you want to try and see if you can make me use two?" Azizi asked as he held out one finger and then another.

Seeing this Zubin wasn't very pleased. "You're such a child, even if I wanted to fight, which I don't, we can't since "he" won't allow it. You seem to forget that we can be attacked at any moment, don't you?" Zubin said as he looked at Azizi as if he was an idiot.

"Fine, since you don't want to play then staying here is useless." He said as he turned around. "I'll be off then, just make sure you do your job right, the last Lesser God of Humanity." Azizi continued as he walked into his black void and disappeared without a trace.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter and sorry for the delayed uploads. This is generally because I started Online School again and haven't really got a good schedule, not to worry though I've caught up on most of my work so if or when I get into routine you can expect regular updates. Again sorry for the repeated hiatuses I'll try make this the last one. (unless I suddenly get dumped with a f*ck ton of homework in which case I hope you guys will understand.)
