CHAPTER 4 MEETING MIKE

LATER IN UNIVERSITY:

Jack was messing around with his friends while mina was sitting in library when a boy went up to her " hello! I m mike" he said while fixing his glasses " hello!..."said mina a little hesitantly "Mmmm.. i m sorry but i don't remember u " said mina " O no no we never met I actually know u but u don't know me " he said nervously " Ohh ok " " can i sit " he ask " O suree" she said quickly

There was a long awkward silence until mina broke it " Are u design student "? " No i m from medical department i saw you many times there first i thought u were a medical student but later i get to know u wer design student " said mike while smiling shyly

" O yess i went there sometimes because of my friend she is studying there" said mina

" U here for some work?" Ask mina " O yess i came here to meet my friend but I can't find him but then i came here and see u so i thought ut will be easy to talk to u coz i know u well u don't" he said while smiling "u want me to help u to find ur friend?" " Ummmmm..Yess " said mike little hesitantly " ok sure no problem i will surely help you " said mina " what is your friend's name by the way" " i m asking so it will be easy to find him " she said quickly adding in her last question

" His name is jack " said mike making mina happy face turn into a frowning one " that alien why it has to be him out of all people" she whisper to herself " what did u say something?" Ask mike politely " aahhh no no i know him very well " she said while giving her fakest tight smile

" lets go lets meet jack " said mima while leading the way coz she know where they can find him at this hour

AT THE ROOFTOP:

Jack and jimmy they both were lying on the ground on rooftop the sun was shining today so they came up to get relief from cold weather

" U have changed" said jimmy out of now where while facing jack " what do you mean i m still the same jack " " no not in that way u just now a days i see u just didn't seem to be present u r always in your thoughts like thinking about something or someone " he said while grinning " what are u trying to say i m not thinking about someone infact i m still the same " say jack " Ahan u sure u didn't strar at mina all the time in class, cafe or anytime she passes by " said jimmy " wa..what mina r u serious " and right after the door of the rooftop opens revealing the only person jack was not planning on seeing

" What u doing here" ask jack while standing up from ground

" Obviously i didn't came here to meet u there is someone who want to meet u" and right after mike showed up from behind foxing his glasses" Mike..?"said. Jack while stepping forward" what r u doing here" he said with gritted teeth confusing mina

" This is not how to talk to ur friend" said mina

"Friend " said jack while laughing" u call him my friend u r so funny mina " he said while laughing making mike angry " i just came here to talk and clear things" said mike

" U think I don't know i what u r you can fool anyone with ur innocent face but me coz i see the real u " said jack

Mina was confuse on why jack was behaving like this coz mike said they were friends so if they r not friends y did mike lie to her
