CHAPTER - 5 { Pokemon Fight! }

Viridian Forest___

Kota walked in the forest, beside him was a red pokemon that looked like a lizard.

"Chaarr!".

Everywhere he looked, Charmander saw bug pokemons on the ground, trees and sky.

And a bird with red spiky feathers flew up in the sky above Kota. It was Spearow, he flew up and looked around for any dangers.

"Speeaa!".

Then, he cried indicating danger ahead of Kota. Listening to it, Kota got alerted of the danger.

"Charmander!".

Coming forward, Charmander stood in front of Kota protecting him from the following incoming.

*Buzz*

Some very unpleasant noises came from the woods, multiple small shadows could be seen.

As they neared, only then could Kota exactly identify those pokemons.

Beedrill, bug/poison-type pokémon. The next and last evolution of Kakuna and Weedle.

Their numbers reached about 20, in a forest encountering this number of Beedrills is worst.

"Charmander, Flamethrower, " Said Kota, stepping back to give Charmander some space.

"Charr!".

Red flames came out of Charmander's mouth burning the Beedrills in fire.

One of the Beedrills successfully avoided the Flamethrower and aimed its sting towards Kota.

"Speeaa!".

Like a wind, Spearow flew and attacked the Beedrill with his wings.

Quick Attack!

*Buzz*

All the Beedrills laid on the ground half burned with flames but not enough to kill them.

"Who provoked these guys?, " Said Kota pushing a Beedrill with his tip of the toe.

'I need to hurry and find a good camping spot, ' Thought Kota as he went deeper in the forest with Charmander and Spearow.

Near a hill, the ground was free of trees. The grass there was leveled and small.

A small tent was built there, Kota sat down and looked up to see Spearow do some Quick Attack practice.

"Spearow!".

In the sky, Spearow flew at a very high speed and used his wings to cut in the air.

"Charmander!".

On the ground, a little far from the camp. Charmander continued to strengthen his Flamethrower.

*Step*

From a bush, a big green creature walked out and stared straight at Charmander.

Scyther, bug/flying-type pokémon.

"Scyytherr!".

It taunted Charmander waving his blades and an aggressive face.

"Charr!".

Charmander, seeing Scyther challenge him for a fight, was excited and called Kota.

"A Scyther? Fight how you want, after you defeat that guy I will catch him, " Said Kota resting his body on the ground and taking a nap.

"Charmander!".

Charmander took a fight stance, Scyther stepped forward nearing Charmander.

"Spearow!".

From the sky, Spearow watched this scene with a very curious gaze.

"Chaaa!, " Going a few steps towards Scyther, Charmander attacked with a Flamethrower.

"Scyy!, " Doing a quick step on its side, Scyther dodged the Flamethrower.

Suddenly, the image of Scyther turned a bit transparent.

Multiple Scyther images formed, Charmander was confused to see that.

Double Team!

Then, with an extreme speed. Scyther slashed towards Charmander.

Charmander shot multiple Flamethrowers in different directions. But he was a second late to hit the exact Scyther, using Double Team.

The attack damage was doubled, Charmander felt like being cut into two parts.

But because Charmander stepped back, the slash didn't do a deep cut to his bones.

Blood dripped down, Charmander breathed heavily in relief and anger.

"Chaar!, " The fire on the end of the tail of Charmander began to grow bigger.

Charmander's claws shined in bright light, he did a sprint and slash towards Scyther.

"Scyther!, " Doing the same, Scyther slashed his blades towards Charmander as well.

Both of them collided, Scyther went back four steps unlike Charmander who was blasted backwards.

"Charr!, " Groaned Charmander, he stood up on his feet once again and attacked with a Flamethrower.

"Scyy!, " Catching a fast speed, Scyther dodged the Flamethrower and attacked Charmander with Quick Attack.

"Speaaa!".

From the sky, Spearow watched everything and his pride was hurt. Charmander could be considered his comrade.

His comrade lost the battle, he lost the battle.

"Charrr! Charmander!, " Said Charmander standing up again on his feet, he was panting.

Scyther on the other hand, was completely unharmed and almost energetic as before.

"Charmander!, " This time, Charmander didn't attack first. He waited for Scyther to do his attacks.

Scyther slowly bent down and stared at Charmander. Rushing, Scyther cut towards Charmander.

Fury Cutter!

Charmander saw Scyther close in with a very fast speed. He opened his mouth to attack with another Flamethrower.

Seeing this, Scyther adjusted his position to the left to avoid the attack.

But, he didn't know that it was the same thing Charmander wanted him to do.

Immediately turning his head, Charmander breathed red hot flames on Scyther.

Because of the close distance, the flames hit Scyther with full strength.

"Scytherrr!".

Scyther rolled on the ground to put the fire out but Charmander didn't stop until Scyther was knocked out.

Inhaling the fire, Charmander freed Scyther off the flames.

"Spearooo!".

Spearow came down next to Charmander and looked at him while nodding his head.

"Charr!".

Breathing, Charmander walked towards Kota to wake him up.
