CHAPTER - 23 { Hitmonlee' Kicks }
Next day___
"Faster!, " Shouted Kota while staring towards the lake with a fruit in his hand.
"Scizor!"
Scizor controlled his breathing and increased his speed at which he ran.
He is trying to decrease the use of his wings while running on the water surface.
*Splash*
But because of his impatient behavior, he splashed more water than yesterday.
"Scizor! Stop!, " Kota shouted angrily, he sighed and looked towards Scizor.
"There's no rush. Doesn't matter how long it takes, just do it, " Said Kota, Scizor nodded his head and took a deep breath.
His eyes had a flash of light, he then started running on water once again.
This time, he didn't splash any water but the waves were a little big and high.
It was something which can be perfect with more training so Kota didn't worry about it.
Gyarados, like yesterday, was doing the same but instead of Hyper Beam, it was Hydro Pump.
Charizard changed the exercise. Today he is trying to stay in the air with the weight of Onix.
Kota left them alone, he walked towards the plain where Nidorino is training.
As he was nearing, his ears could already hear the sounds of boulder shattering.
*Bam*
Nidorino slammed on a huge boulder which with the light of cracks, blasted in pieces.
Kota nodded his head, Nidorino was showing good progress in his strength and attack power.
Lastly, Kota came to the area where Gengar was using his Shadow Ball continuously.
*Boom*
The Shadow Ball struck on the tree truck, fragments of tree barks fell.
With the urging of Kota from behind, Gengar was giving his best to destroy the tree with only Shadow Ball.
"Again!, " Said Kota loudly, Gengar nodded and created the black ball between his palms.
*Boom*
With the hit of the sixth Shadow Ball, the tree fell on the ground.
"Gengar!"
Gengar half kneeled, looked at the fallen tree and grinned ear to ear.
"Next one!, " But with the voice of Kota, Gengar lost his grin and turned to face another tree.
*Boom*
The sound of explosions echoed in the forest, which scared many small pokemons.
But one particular pokemon was attracted to the explosion caused by Gengar.
From behind a tree, this pokemon stared at Gengar with curious gaze.
Its eyes were also on Kota, who was instructing Gengar with his best skills.
This pokemon slowly came out from behind the tree in the sunlight.
As soon as Kota saw the pokemon, he recognized it immediately.
Hitmonlee, a fighting type pokemon. It is known as the Kicking Pokemon.
This Hitmonlee looks bigger than normal, with more muscles in its legs.
It also has many scars on its body, especially the one on its stomach.
That scar looked like a cross, and must have been taken in a deadly fight.
"Hitmonlee!"
Hitmonlee called Gengar for a fight. Kota even before the fight between Gengar and Hitmonlee knew the winner.
"You wanna fight?, " Asked Kota looking towards Hitmonlee, the latter nodded his head.
"Then you wait, I will bring a stronger pokemon to fight you head on, " Said Kota while turning back and running towards the direction of the camp.
Meanwhile, Gengar flew above Hitmonlee and thanked him for interfering in his training.
"Gengar!"
Hitmonlee raised his head, he saw Gengar flew around him in the air.
"Hitmonlee!"
Squatting, Hitmonlee jumped in the air next to Gengar and kicked with his right leg.
High Jump Kick!
But Gengar easily dodged it by flying away from Hitmonlee in the air.
*Thud*
Hitmonlee landed back on the ground, he crossed his arms over his chest and waited for Kota to return.
"Chaa!"
A loud roar was heard, Charizard with Kota on his back came flying before Hitmonlee.
"Chaaa!"
Charizard stood in front of Hitmonlee and roared, he clenched his fists tightly.
"Hitmonlee!*
With their instincts, the fight started with Hitmonlee kicking on Charizard' left shoulder.
Hitmonlee' speed was so fast that Charizard couldn't block the kick.
"Hitmonlee!"
Charizard was kicked towards the trees. Hitmonlee, still with his right leg in the air, looked towards Charizard.
Retreating his leg, Hitmonlee then hopped on the ground with his legs in rhythm.
It looked as if Hitmonlee was dancing. Kota even left like Hitmonlee was not just one.
With his leg movements, Hitmonlee was almost creating his own after images.
"Chaa!"
Charizard stood up from the ground and roared, he was infuriated to be kicked the very first moment the fight started.
Sprinting towards Hitmonlee, Charizard raised his clenched right fist and punched.
Before coming here to fight against Hitmonlee, Kota forbade him to use fire moves.
Moving sideways, Hitmonlee dodged the punch from Charizard.
"Hitmonlee!"
Hitmonlee then starts to kick multiple hits on Charizard' legs, he uses Low Sweep.
"Chaa!"
With the hits on his legs, Charizard groaned in pain but didn't let it show on his face.
He punched with his left fist towards Hitmonlee but it was dodged again as Hitmonlee went low.
Coming on the left side of Charizard, Hitmonlee hit on Charizard' left leg with a Low Kick.
"Chaa!".
Charizard fell on his left knee because of the Low Kick from Hitmonlee.
But Hitmonlee didn't expect Charizard to hold both his legs the moment he kneeled.
"Hitmonlee!"
Hitmonlee tried to punch and push Charizard but his upper body strength was not enough for that.
Charizard smirked at Hitmonlee, he got up from the ground and lifted Hitmonlee completely.
Charizard standing at 3.8 meters was already towering over Hitmonlee at 1.7 meters.
*Slam*
Holding both legs in his single hand, Charizard slammed Hitmonlee on the ground.
*Slam*
Charizard continued to slam Hitmonlee on the ground until it was knocked out.
"That's enough!, " Said Kota walking towards Charizard, who dropped the body of Hitmonlee.
"Chaa!"
Charizard looked down on his legs, they were marked by blue in the skin.
Every single kick from Hitmonlee had Charizard feel like his bone had broken.
He sat on the ground massaging his legs and his left shoulder.
Kota successfully caught the knocked out Hitmonlee in a pokeball.
Which after some few minutes vanished. It went directly to Professor Oak' lab.
