22 Part 21

Ichibe had enough of this. All of this was challenging his inner peace. He couldn't count the times, that he was just attacked as a form of greeting.

These mutants had no manners. But whatever. It seemed that the only way to talk to them was through a show of power.

If he is strong, then they listened. That was the only thing he could think of. His stay with the Ancient One and the Masters of the Mystic Arts made him forget that.

So, this was a good experience for him.

On the other hand, he had to say that there was not really another way to handle the situations he was in. If he had met the mutants with hostility, he wouldn't have been any different than all those people who hunt them down and experiment on them.

But now it was enough. These Aliens had to go. This was not their world to conquer. Don't get him wrong, it's also not his. He has no such ambitions.

But now it was time to end this stupid episode. He would have his talk with Jean Elaine Grey and there is nothing that was going to stop him now.

He felt the Phoenix Force in front of him. He was using Shunpo and following a train track. Then he saw a train in front of him. There was fighting going on inside and on the outside as well.

That was a relief. He was in desperate need of some fighting.

He saw the last train compartment get compressed and twisted. It seems Magneto was going ham there.

Ichibe first targeted the D'Bari on top of the train. It was time to demonstrate efficiency.

He sped up and arrived on the roof of the train. He delivered a palm attack to the alien closest to him. With his marvellous control, there was now a hand imprint on the D'Bari's chest.

Then out of nowhere, the D'Bari started to bloat and then exploded like a balloon. This was one of Ichibe's own techniques. After he travelled to Asia, he studied Acupuncture and the martial arts of different masters.

He had no problem with getting himself different teachers and learning from them. He learned many different styles of Kung-fu, Taekwondo, Judo, Wing-Chun and so on.

He found out that he could coat his fingers with a very specific amount of spirit energy, he could tap certain pressure points on the human body and make him explode.

The way this goes is that he closes the normal energy flow of the body and injects spirit energy in those points.

So, the spirit energy is then trapped inside a small space and can't flow through the body, in its intended way. Therefore, the spirit energy clashes and causes the body to bloat and explode.

It's a bit more complicated than that, but that's a general idea.

Ichibe has found different effects using spirit energy and pressure points. Some are of the healing type and some are very dangerous.

This was a test, to see whether the D'Bari also take on the anatomy of humans or if they are just shapeshifted. And it turns out that they do not take on the anatomy of humans, but they have pressure points as well.

So Ichibe went on a killing spree. He used different styles of killing, but all of them only used his hands and feet. He had to practice his killing moves occasionally. If not, he'll turn rusty.

In only about two minutes, all D'Bari on the roof of the train were killed. Ichibe made sure that they were truly unsalvageable. He didn't want some humans to reverse-engineer their powers.

Ororo Munroe was stunned. This man that had been trying to 'help' Jean was truly strong. At first, she didn't believe he was anything special. Then she thought he was truly some monk that had healing abilities.

But now it seemed that he was truly strong and was only going easy on them. Interesting. This man was interesting.

Done on the roof, Ichibe made his way into the train. He tapped the roof with his foot and had it break like glass.

As he was landing, he heard the alien Vuk talk with Erik.

"You wanted her dead."

"I had a change of heart."

Ichibe landed between them at that moment.

"Well said, Mr Lehnherr. Don't take smack of someone that is an enemy of the earth."

"You. What are you doing here?"

"Oh I'm here for Jean Elaine Grey. I will help this girl now and there is nothing stopping me. So you better not try."

Ichibe said as he looked at Magneto.

"I have no interest in stopping you."

"Well then, let me finish this."

"You will die … Monk."

"I don't think so, my dear."

Ichibe stood there as Vuk attacked him. He took all she had and just brushed it off. Literally. He was holding his calligraphy brush in his hands and brushed all the debris to the side.

He had enough of this and got a bit serious for a moment.

"Blacken: Ichimonji."

You see, there was no reason to bring out his calligraphy brush, to use his powers anymore. But it was always good to put up pretences and make yourself appear weaker than you were.

Ink dripped from Ichimonji and all the things on the train were covered with ink.

Ichibe made sure not to get any ink on Magneto.

With a final swing, Ichimonji covered Vuk in ink. All movement inside the train stopped. Vuk had a confused look on her face. She didn't understand what happened.

But Ichibe was not going to explain to her, like some second-rate villain.

No, he put Ichimonji away again and stood before the alien. He was not a cruel person, and he also didn't find pleasure in bringing vengeance.

So he ended it with a clap. He simply clapped Vuk onto the floor, with his Spirit Appendage Manifestation.

The part of the train in front of Ichibe and Magneto got crushed by a giant white palm. And in the next moment, Vuk's remains were splattered on the ground.
