18•Moon Landing [1]

Three weeks passed with The whole Barkly thing. Jay at first was kinda annoyed when knowing Will was only there to take barkly away but Gloria sorted the whole thing out with Jay inviting him to the gym to play racquetball with Cameron.

But before that began, as it was still early in the morning, We have our first scene at the Dunphy house as Claire, Phil and Alex were in the kitchen with Haley nowhere to be seen.

Claire:"Those pancakes smell great."

Phil:"What are you doing with those?"

Seeing Alex with some trash bags, he wondered why she had those.

Alex:"Well Luke and I are doing a recycling drive. If we collect enough bottles, they build a school in Africa."

Luke:"Wouldn't that be so cool to go to a school made out of bottles?"

Alex:"That would certainly be a Special school. Did you hear what I said, parents? "Special school"?"

Claire served herself a coffee as she came beside Phill and listened in on the conversation.

Claire:"What about Will?, why isn't he helping you?"

Alex:"Well at first I did ask him but it looks like Jay invited him to the gym with uncle cam to play racquetball"

Claire:"Oh I'm so sorry sweetie"

Phil:"What kind of thirteen year old goes to the gym"

Claire:"Remember that time in Alex bedroom when-"

Phil:"Never mind"

Alex looked weirdly at them as she nodded

Alex:"Its not a big deal, I'm fine with it since I can't spend everyday/everytime with him, I read online that most boys don't like clingy girls so yeah"

Claire:"Your not clingy, if someone's clingy it's Will, he's almost at our house everyday"

She shrugged as a smile lit on her face

Alex:"Really? Oh man that's a relief, someone at my school said that but it looks like they were wrong."

Alex happily was walking away when Phil stopped her

Phil:"Uh What about Will?"

Alex:"Hmm, he's not clingy, although he spends a lot of time with me and we do occasionally exchange multiple texts he still trust me so…"

And with that Alex left with Haley entering

Haley:"Okay, nobody make a big deal about it, but I just broke up with Dylan."

Phi:"No!"

Claire:"Oh, my gosh. Are you okay, honey?"

Haley:"Yeah, I'm fine. I just-I need to date someone

who has a clue, instead of an idiot who bangs his head...every time he rides his bike out of his garage- every time!"

Haley sat down as Phil grabbed a plate of food and put it in front of her.

Phil:"I'm sorry, honey. I'm sorry for both of you. I'll have to text him later."

Haley looked up from her phone and stared at the camera with a blank look while Claire just shook her head. Looking at her watch she remembered her meeting

Claire:"Mmm. I gotta jump in the shower. I'm gonna be late."

Luke:"Where are you going?"

Claire:"I'm going to meet my friend Valerie.I haven't seen her in 15 years. We used to work together."

Haley:"You worked?"

Claire nodded as she put a spoon full of yogurt in her mouth and hummed

Luke:"Can't imagine you working."

Phil:"Luke, let me tell you something. That is very offensive to women. Your mom works very hard. It's just now she works for us."

Claire:"I will have you know that I had quite the little career going.I was an account manager at Starcrest Hotels. I had a little cubicle, and-and I wore my tennis shoes to work...and changed into my work pumps. It was very Working Girl."

Phil:"That movie's so clutch."

Claire:"I don't mind saying I was making quite a splash."

Turning around in her chair, Haley wondered about something

Haley:"Well, then, why'd you quit?"

Claire:"Well, Haley, call me old-fashioned, but I wanted to focus on raising a family. So I married your dad."

Phil:"Five months later, we... were...four months away from having this little bundle of joy."

Phil rubbed Haley arm as she looked mortified. Alex came in with some more plastic bottles that were in the garage with Haley getting out of her father grasp

Haley:"Oh great timing, do you know if Will has an older brother?"

Alex looked at her weirdly

Alex:"No why?"

Haley:"Well Dylan and I broke up and I needed someone more….mature"

Alex:"Well he told me he's an only child so looks like your gonna have to look or stick with Dylan"

She chuckled as Haley followed her from behind.

Haley:"You know, if the stuff between you and Will don't work out, I'm sure he wouldn't mind dating a hot high-schooler"

—-Commentary——

Alex:"I'm not worried about Will liking Haley because he's shown me on multiple occasions that he has eyes for me but I am worried about Haley having ideas but maybe they won't be implemented?"

Alex was on the couch and shrugged as she bit her nail and was lost in thought but after a phew seconds she started to giggle

Alex:"Hahaha, I can't believe I was almost worried about Haley, of all people Haley!, stealing Will from me, like that's one crazy impossibility"

——-Commentary ends——-

Alex turned around with an 'O' face as she looked at her disgustingly.

Haley:"Haha, joking!"

And with that Haley left Alex there confused. While that was going on, Cam and Mitchell arrived at Jay house and rang the doorbell with Gloria opening it and Jay coming down from upstairs.

Gloria:"There's my lawyer."

—-Commentary——-

Mitchell was sitting on a seat in his house as the camera was focused on him

Mitchell:"Gloria got into a little car accident, so my dad asked me to help her out. And, uh, this is the first time that my dad's asked me for legal advice, and it's- it's nice. It's nice to know that he respects me in that way."

The camera zoomed out to reveal Cameron was sitting next to him

Cameron:"Well, Mitchell is an amazing lawyer. My dream for him is that one day he'll be on the Supreme Court."

Mitchell:"Why, Cam?"

Cameron:"So at parties I can tell everyone my partner is one of the Supremes."

He holds a laugh in as the camera zoomed in on Mitchell and then zoomed backed out

Cameron:"There he is- the steely, grizzled veteran... ready to do battle with the plucky upstart. Speed versus grace. Brute force versus-"

Jay:"Let's just do this."

Jay cuts off Cameron as they headed outside with Jay stopping in his tracks.

Jay:"Wait where's Will?"

Cameron:"He's already at the gym"

Jay:"And how do you know this?"

Cameron:"Alex texted me about it. Did you know he does boxing?"

Jay:"Yeah yeah, let's go. At least there's gonna be a normal person who I can change around with"

Cameron smiles awkwardly

——Commentary starts——-"

Cameron was sitting with Mitchell as the camera focuses on him

Cameron:"Jay and I are both gym rats. I love the sauna. That's the dry heat. And the steam, wet And, of course, I am just a kook for racquetball. Club champ two years in a row, Tonganoxie, Missouri Rec Center. So, naturally, Jay and I have been trying for months...to get together to bang the old hollow rubber ball around but surprise surprise, he's coming only when knowing a straight guy is coming with"

The scene changes to Jay house as he was sitting on the couch with Gloria

Jay:"I have been avoiding this day like the plague. I mean, part of going to the gym is the locker-room atmosphere. And if I'm there with a gay guy, it's-it's just not gonna be the same.I mean, for me, it's a locker room. For him, it's a showroom. But thankfully after some research and by that I mean asking around, I found out that Will goes to the gym. So the first thing I ask him when knowing is to accompany me with Cameron so nothing weird goes on"

Gloria just makes a face as Jay scoffed

Jay:"She doesn't get it."

Cameron and Jay enter the gym as they greeted, more like Cameron, greeted the employee behind the desk as they made way to the locker room to get changed for their match.

But They catch Will in a room with windows that showed him bunching a sand bag.

Cameron:"Hey Will, nice to see my fellow companion putting in the work"

Will stopped punching the bag as he smiled and bent down to grab a cloth to wipe the sweat of his face. Now you may be wondering why a billionaire kid like him is doing in a public gym, well the answer to that was because Jay invited him over for the match and so he decided to do his gym routine right here to get it over with.

And getting in here was easier then what it looked like.

Jay:"Hey kid, nice jabs"

Will:"Thanks, I been practicing boxing, Krav Maga as well jujutsu"

Cameron nodded with Jay looking at him weirdly

Cameron:"Brazilian?"

Will:"A little bit of that"

Cameron:"Well I don't mean to brag but if you need help, I have been known to be flexible-"

Jay:"What are you guys talking about?"

Will:"It's nothing besides I tried to get Alex to work out but she's dead set on not coming"

Jay:"Why do you want Alex to go to the gym? Have you seen her try to lift 5 pound weights?"

Will:"It might not be so bad teaching her a few self defense moves if someone tries to kiss her"

Jay looked weirdly at Will as he shrugged and headed to the locker room with Cameron as Will just put on his shirt and headed to the racquetball room with his equipment.

Cameron:"It's a terrific gym, Jay. Very liberal with the towels.I love that."

Jay:"Showers are private, in case you wondered."

Cameron:"I wasn't, but thanks for the heads-up. Now, that's a surprise. Boxers."

Jay:"Is that necessary?"

Cameron:"Well, I just always pictured you as a tighty-whitey guy."

Jay:"Well, do me a favor. The next time you picture me, leave the underwear out of it….just forget it!"

Cameron:"Well, don't you worry. The only thing I'm picturing...is how clean the floor's gonna be when I'm done mopping it with your guys faces."

Jay Chuckled as he started to take his boxers off with Cameron taking his pants off, obviously they were facing away from each other

Jay:"Is that the best you can do? Cause it's gonna take a little more than some lame trash talk to get me out of my-Gaah! What the hell was that?"

Cameron:"Our butts pressed against each other."

Jay:"They didn't press. It was glancing. Stop talking about it!"

Cameron:"All the time you've spent in a locker room, this can't be your first moon landing."

Jay:"You got a name for it?"

Cameron:"It's very common. You got off easy. At least it didn't happen after a shower. We call that a splashdown"

Jay:"Enough. That's it. I'm changing in the stall. This is why you can't be here with a gay guy. Excuse me!"

Jay grabbed his duffle bag with his clothes as he headed away from Cameron to change. While Will was waiting for them in the room, he was leaning on the wall while giggling as he read and sent text to Alex.

Alex and Luke were nowhere to be seen in the house while Haley was coming down from upstairs as she was talking through her phone, heading into the kitchen.

Haley:"I saw the picture, Dylan. You had your arm around her with that humpy look you get. No, that's not always how you look. We're over!"

The Phone Beeps as she huffed out while Phil was sitting at the dining table, his back turned to Haley as he was currently in a call.

Phil:"So, I'd really like to talk to you, Mrs. Patterson, see if we can't turn this thing around. Uh, you've got my number. Thank you."

Haley:"I said we are over.! Why don't you go out for a nice bike ride?"

Phil:"Dylan again, huh? Some guys just do not know how to play it."

Turning around to Haley, he was revealed to be wearing a surprisingly almost real, mustache that was as long as his lips. Haley looked at her father weirdly and shook her head

Haley:"Dad, what are you doing?"

Phil:"Oh, right.Just, uh, test-driving my new soup strainer. I dug it out of the Halloween stuff to see what people think…"

Haley rolled her eyes as she walked away when the doorbell rang.

Haley:"Someone's at the door"

Phil:"Haley, could you-"

Hearing the door to her room shut loudly, Phil got up and went to see who was at the door.

Construction worker:"Sorry to bother you, sir. We're doing work next door and nicked a main, so we're gonna have to shut down your water."

Phil:"Oh. Okay. No problem."

It revealed to be a construction worker with fabulous hair and a great, real, mustache.

Construction worker:"It shouldn't be too long.If you need it, there's a porta-potty out front."

Phil:"Thanks. Hey, nice mustache"

Construction worker:"Yeah, man.You too, brother."

He chuckled as he left with Phil nodding at the camera

Phil:"You too, brother."

He was currently sitting on the couch with arms spread out as he was leaning back and smiling.
