If I had a family

"Alexi", someone called out to her just as she was about to exit the mansion. "Wait a minute, Alexi", the person shouted again, causing Alexi to slow down finally. A girl with long blonde locks and grey eyes ran after Alexi and behind her was another girl with brown hair and eyes, she is Jane's daughter Jeanett.

"Young miss Addison, and miss Jeanett. How may I assist you", she asked putting on her professional attitude. "S-sister I have a request. Please stop this stubbornness... and do what grandpa asks of you. Please stop being selfish and think about the family for once," she urged her sister. "Young miss, I would do anything for my family" she stated, this made Addison smile, thinking that she had gotten through to her but what she said next caused the smile on Addison's face to turn upside down, "Only if I had a family, how unfortunate of me", she tsked as she walked away and boarded the car that was waiting for her. "Bye-bye" she waved her hand as the car departed from the estate.

'These people are so tiring,' she thought as she stared out the window. She was feeling annoyed as her day was wasted dealing with that old stubborn man and his annoying family and Jane was the worst of them all. Every word that came out of the woman's mouth made you lose faith in humanity but on the bright side her school and two businesses were doing more than great and her influence was growing.

After a one-hour drive the car she borders reached her residence. Alexi did not live on the estate with her parents, she lived in the suburbs near her school.

Just as usual she planned to go to her study and digest some emotions but it seemed the gods were not willing to grant her wishes, not today at least.

"Alex, Ohh. You don't know how much I missed you. I'm so glad to be back" a sharp voice shouted as soon as she entered. A girl with long hair dyed in silver ran towards Alexi with her arms wide open.
