CHAPTER 2
The days were moving fast and the ladies were getting ready for the "festival of love", many of them had meet to practice dancing steps, where as others plan to win the king's heart by singing, others also planned by winning his heart through his stomach. All the young ladies were so sure that they would be picked to be the next queen of the village, all these were happening without the awareness of queen sally.
After days of practices, the main day finally came and all the young madiens gathered in the village square and they were all happy, the traditional musicians were playing danceable tunes, some of the ladies were. dancing, and the men were happy, there was so much food because everyone wants to impress the king. The king had not yet arrived but a special area had been decorated awaiting his Majesty, the king was still hoping his beautiful wife would return , but all hopes were just wasted, the chief guard came in and informed the king that his kings men were all waiting for him. The king looked at himself ones more in the mirror and made a deep sigh and left for the ceremony.
The king was close to the ceremony when the young madiens rushes before him to welcome him, most of them were fighting on who the king would welcome with his native staff. The guards manage to seperate them from the king and the king was led to his throne, so we're his kings men, after so many introduction the ceremony kicked off with the wave of the native staff by the king. The rules of the ceremony was for the madiens to impress the king with their talent and he was to pick one of them to be the next queen, with this rule fully understood by the madiens they all did what they could do, those that wanted to dance, did their best, and those that were to sing did their best as well, but the king was fond of none of them.
The madiens did all they could but the king wasn't moved to choose any of them, this made the kings men really angry and they told the king that he has to choose a madiens if he still wants to keep the throne, with this the last group of madiens came out with their different dishes, the king had tasted all the dishes but one, the king asked the other maidens to go back, the last bowl of food had his favourite dish in it, with a hand full of this food he requested to see the maiden who prepared that meal, with his statement a slim, tall, and fair looking maiden came forward, she was wrapped in a "Royal wine" clothing, she had dark eyes and a pretty smile, she was the first daughter of the village chief priest. The king asked for her name and she replied the king saying, "your highness may you live long, my name is Ada the first daughter of the chief priest" with this the king stood up from his throne took Ada by the hand and introduced her to the entire village as his new wife and their new queen.
With this everyone was happy and they greatest the king, with this the king proclaimed his married to be held in the village square in the next 2arket days. With his words the festival of love came to an end, and Ada was excorted by some guards to inform her father the chief priest about the good news.
