The second bloodsucking flower

Xiao Jingyi looked to be alert, but at the same time, he looked to be a lot calmer than Fu Jie who almost looked as if he was ready to piss his pants.

Fu Jie's eyes frantically looked around, trying to find something in this dark cave but it was only Xiao Jingyi who had been able to notice something odd while Fu Jie had no idea about it.

He made sure to stick close to Xiao Jingyi in hopes of the man saving him but when something finally decided to attack them, Xiao Jingyi stepped aside first and warned out instead of protecting Fu Jie.

"Look out!"

Fu Jie almost cursed the man out loud as he avoided the sudden thing that had sprung at him by just a mere few inches and in the process, he fell down to the ground.

Fu Jie's eyes widened as he saw the thick vine retreating back into the dark after an unsuccessful attempt to capture the two.
