The ruins of a war.

Without waiting for a response from the ghost king, Fu Jie turned to look at Tang An and stretched his right hand out forward as he spoke, "Get on."

Tang An was clearly a bit confused and stunned so he slowly turned his head up to look at the man cluelessly.

"Fast or I'm leaving you behind," Fu Jie clicked his tongue.

Tang An gulped as he questioned, Stuttering, "W-why...?"

"What do you mean why?" Fu Jie questioned back without missing a beat as his eyes dangerous narrowed down on the boy, "If you are the one who caused all of this, shouldn't you be taking responsibility for it as well?"

Tang An blankly blinked as he heard this and hesitantly grabbed Fu Jie's hand, "But Brother Fu, don't you hate me...?"

It need not be explained what Tang An was talking about. It had already been made obvious that Fu Jie had learned about Tang An's real identity as his stepbrother.
