Fu Jie being bullied

Fu Jie felt his heart go still as he stood in front of a rather slim tree that couldn't even hide him properly.

He hated it when his gut feeling would turn out to be real.

This martial sister looked really friendly and kind, but that same smile that used to portray all these qualities now looked to be evil as she glared at Fu Jie.

How in the hell was this training?!

This was clearly bullying!

It reminded Fu Jie of all the movies he used to watch which depicted somewhat the same scene where a bully would place an apple over the head of his victim and try to hit the apple with a baseball bat, all the while, having the worst aim ever.

Luo Lijuan smiled happily as she cupped her hands together and raised her left foot slightly off the ground.

Her clothes flowing freely with the light breeze as she closed her eye and focused all her energy into her hands. Soon, there was water surrounding her entire body like a shield or a cocoon.

Fu Jie couldn't help but find the sight beautiful. She looked much alike a water goddess but when Fu Jie thought about who the victim of that attack was going to be, he shivered.

Ten minutes ago~

"Why don't we do this? You go over there and stand in front of that tree and I'll try to cut down the tree without hurting you." Luo Lijuan beamed, "If you get hurt, you can ask me any question you like and I'll give you an answer."

"Eh?" Fu Jie looked over at the pathetic slim tree that looked as if it could fall over at any given moment.

He thought about the offer but no matter how much time he spent analyzing it, his mind still told him to not go along with the girl's plan.

However, Fu Jie was a fool that never listened to the good signals his mind sent him.

"Any question?"

The girl nodded, "Anything you like."

"Hmm..." Fu Jie started to walk over to the tree but he suddenly stopped and looked back at her, "Just asking but... How good are you with your aim?"

Luo Lijuan only smiled in turn and although the smile was extremely bright, Fu Jie's future only looked dark because of it.

Fu Jie gulped as he went over to the said tree and stood in front of it like another log of wood, not even daring to breathe as he waited for the girl to attack.

When they first arrived at this place, there weren't many people here but now that they were here, suddenly the disciples who were walking by, all stopped and looked at the scene in delight and pity.

"Poor guy..."

"What did he do to offend Senior martial sister?"

These disciples seemed to not have heard about the happenings from the food hall so they couldn't understand why this man was being punished to train with Luo Lijuan.

Luo Lijuan was exceptionally talented among all the other students and this was also the reason why Elder Dayu would assign her the most important works that needed to be done. Her personality wasn't something that many people hated, in fact, she was nice and polite to almost everyone. She always had a smile on her face and maybe that smile was also the reason why other students feared her so much.

If she liked you, she'll smile at you.

If she wasn't interested in you, she'll still smile at you.

If she hated you, she'll smile even more brightly.

And if she was annoyed at you and wanted to take revenge, her smile would be so bright that even the sun would look dull in comparison.

It was always best not to get on her bad side and surprisingly enough, it was pretty easy to get on her bad side.

She was a clean freak who liked to take at least five baths a day. She'll change her clothes almost every two hours and would always strive to look as perfect as she could.

If she saw you affecting her perfect image, you'll be as good as minced meat.

So, the answer to the question 'What had he done to deserve this punishment?' was as clear as day.

Luo Lijuan opened her eyes and the pupils that were previously black now turned light blue and seemed to mimic the effect of water.

Fu Jie gulped as he suddenly started regretting his initial decision to come here.

He should have said no!

This girl is crazy!

So what if she looks as pretty as a goddess?! She was still crazy! She was a crazy goddess!

Her hair started changing color as well and from the pitch-black color, it turned lighter and lighter till it became an almost whitish-blue color.

The water that had formed a cocoon around her suddenly broke and reformed into a few hundred blades that were aimed right at Fu Jie.

At... Fu Jie...

Not the tree!!

Fu Jie closed his eyes immediately when he saw the blades approaching at a speed that was hard to dodge.

Fu Jie thought he was surely going to die but somehow, he was still able to open his eyes after that attack.

His arms had a few cuts on them and some of the cuts started bleeding however, these cuts weren't the real worry for him.

He felt the shadow of the tree moving and it made him glance back to see that the tree had been sliced in half and the free top half of it was now falling on top of him.

Oh...!

Fu Jie's body reacted fast as he moved out of the way and avoided the falling tree by a few inches.

When the tree hit the ground with a 'Bam!', there was a lot of dust that rose up and it was all inhaled by Fu Jie who was now coughing the life out of his lungs.

He heard Luo Lijuan chuckle and when he looked over at her, her hair had turned black once again and so had her eyes.

"I guess you get a question now," she beamed and it was only at this moment that the shock was gone and the pain started to kick in.

His arms felt as if they were ready to fall off at any given moment and the small cuts caused so much pain to him that he felt like amputating his arm would have been better.

He instantly understood that these cuts weren't normal cuts. There was something extremely wrong with them. Although they didn't look deep, they were unusually hurting a lot.

Fu Jie bit his lower lip and looked at the girl with a sense of hatred.

He couldn't even remember the question he was about to ask.

Luo Lijuan waited for a minute but even after a minute, when Fu Jie didn't speak up, she smiled brightly as she pointed at another tree, "If you don't have any questions, let's go for a second round."

Fu Jie glanced at the tree and then back at the girl.

There was no way he was going to agree!

He was never going to do this again!

He didn't enjoy being bullied like this!

He wasn't planning on agreeing... so why was he silently walking over to the next tree...?!

"This man... So courageous!"

"He can still stand after that?!"

"His spiritual energy must have started going out of control."

"If Senior martial sister doesn't stop..."

"He's really going to die!"

Luo Lijuan got ready to attack again. She lifted her left foot off the ground and her hair started going through the decolorization process.

The water that had been soaked by the ground rose up again and formed a cocoon around her.

When she opened her eyes that looked to resemble a blue-colored water droplet, the water cocoon broke and this time it formed a single sword that sprang forward at Fu Jie.

This time, Fu Jie didn't close his eyes, and instead, he stared straight at the incoming water blade.

When the water blade was about to cut through him and divide him in half, he unconsciously brought his hand up and tried to use it as a shield, thinking that he could break the water pressure like this.

Surprisingly, it worked.

Just like how he had used all his spiritual powers to fight in that battle, he had once again unconsciously done the same thing.

He focused on his hands so much that before the water blade could even touch him, it shattered and went back to being normal water droplets that fell onto the ground and were absorbed by mother earth.

The disciples who had almost looked away at the anticipated brutal sight couldn't help but watch the scene in shock.

"This man...!"

"He's an idiot!"

"A powerful idiot!"

"He stopped it?!"

"He really stopped it?!"

Luo Lijuan looked at Fu Jie who had run out of energy and was swaying side to side as he stood on the spot. Her lips curved upwards and she nodded once as she walked closer to him.

"I see... Elder Dayu wasn't mistaken." Luo Lijuan looked at him as she continued, "You're an impressive madman."

"Eh?" Fu Jie couldn't keep standing anymore as his legs gave out and his vision started going dark.

Luo Lijuan caught his falling body and her smile that looked honest for the first time was the last thing that he saw before completely passing out... Once again!

Ever since he got here there wasn't a single day he didn't pass out!
