Class Meeting Part 2

When sam saw both of the faces he felt emotional, both of them were his best friends William and James. William was the slightly fat one, he had a slightly fat body but not too much to be called as fatty, he was one of the best students in whole class, he even came at the class via the scholarship programme. while sam didn't know what happened to him after he graduated and whether he survived the during the pirate's raid but he had belief William wouldn't survive because of his self-righteous nature he would definitely die helping others.

James on the other hand was on the side of skinny peoples there were not many muscles on his body but he had surprising strength and agility despite looking so frail. From what he remembers about him he had qualified as a mech pilot then he had never seen him again. His family belongs to the middle class and he even lives nearby by his house just a block away.

Both of them came near him and as per he remembers him he came for a slight hug. This habit of William of hugging people for greeting remains still the same. While James asked him " what are you doing here Sam, I thought you didn't like to attend the class meeting.

Sam simply replied at James remark while smiling "nothing I thought that it might be last ever class meeting before entering the university and who knows me might never meet again like this so I decided to go against myself for the first time and come here.

While it might seem like sam said these words were said without thinking anything but the words he said were completely true as he never meets again with his classmates.

Sam then asked "what are you guys discussing"

James then looked back towards rest of the class and as he was going to tell him. all three suddenly heard a laughter behind them when they looked behind they found their dear class leader Edward was laughing at them, William as per his self-righteous attitude confronted him "what are you laughing at"

Edward then replies "nothing just your friend there doesn't even know what this meeting is about, still, he dares to come here" still laughing when he replied.

Sam was not even a single bit surprised or hurt from the Edward remark, Edward was jut taking his revenge for what he said to him in the morning. If it was in his past life surely he would have replied in his own sarcastic way but now that he had adult mindset he of adult he doesn't want to waste his energy in this useless brawl of words, thus he stopped William who was going to reply and said instead " no I just didn't know, would you mindful enough to tell me what is this meeting for" he simply asked in return.

This question caused Edward in surprise and he stopped laughing in even from his imagination he never expected that a prick like sam simply asked a question instead of starting a war of words he then replied "here we are discussing which mechs are going to be in the exhibition, and we are also discussing university entrance exam next month" being the class leader one thing he never lacks is awareness thus when sam asked what this missing is about he also replied in a simple language no longer continuing his sarcasm. And in the end, he also doesn't want to be seen as a bad one as his laughter attracted quite an attraction from his classmates. As for his revenge, there might be many chances for it given what the meeting is about.

After everything settled down sam and his both friends went to sit together and started talking among themselves.

Sam has some thoughts about his friends because no matter what he does he alone can't change everything by himself he would need support from other people while his friends might not be enough but for start, his friends might be good and in the future when they start to influence other then tey might truly help him. Thus he decided to help them and achieve something higher.

Sam first asked to William as he has better potential than James "William what do you want to do in future, what I mean is in the entrance exam"

William who was just smiling turned serious then he said "sam you know the condition of my house I was able to study in such top high school was unaffordable by my family if I hasn't earned that scholarship I might not even be here, after thinking about my family situation I decided that I will get any collage that will offer me scholarship"

Sam who heard him didn't have many surprises in him because that's what he expected from William but he still told him "buddy I was not trying to ask about which university you wanna go I was asking which department you wanna choose like as we know James will definitely choose mech pilot isn't it right James.

James was surprised when he was suddenly called out by sam after all just now sam was asking to William but he suddenly changed the subjected to him.

But he replied shyly "yes I am planning to entre into mech pilot for quite some time, but I am not confident about my chances. You know that becoming pilot is more about right genes rather than physical fitness, and cousin went for checking for his ability in a private institute but his results were negative thus I am not much optimistic about my result" then he added "but how do you know sam that I want to become mech pilot as I think I have never told you about it anytime"

Sam being asked question how did he know was startled but he made up the an excuse in an instant "if someone with your strength doesn't want to become a mech pilot then who want to become, so I guessed and you have seen the result"

James who heard this excuse was not satisfied with this reason but there went not much reason thus he can only accept this while William laughed this matter off.

And just then James asked sam " that's about us but what about you what are you applying for"

Just when sam was about to answer this trio heard an annoying voice again " sam definitely knows this mech specification isn't it sam"
