Introduction "1"

"Notice: These events are merely an introduction. The ideas are mixed and some are unclear, containing a lot of empty words. They are just thoughts gathered together. You can take a glance or wait for the main story."

Mothers' cries, children's screams, men's bodies fill the city... destroyed churches, burnt icons, severed heads, scattered limbs... rivers of blood flowing in its streets.

The smell of blood permeates everywhere, piles of people's limbs, prisoners screaming for help as they are led to their execution by ruthless soldiers...

Children running from one neighborhood to another, chased by sword-wielding soldiers, and a veiled woman bursting into tears over her helpless husband's body in the middle of the square. In that corner, a child crying over his mother, who was slaughtered before his very eyes, or a brother captured and unsure where the executioner took him...

And in another street, a priest weeping over the burned remnants of holy relics trampled by soldiers' feet...

In their minds, there is only one question: what mistake did they commit? Why are their own soldiers slaughtering them, the same soldiers they were proud of?

Amid a pool of blood, a young man fell to his knees, screaming and holding a spear lodged in his stomach, coughing up blood.

He looked at his mother, who was near him, wounded by an arrow in her shoulder, and she said to him, "Lucas, run, leave me and save your sister," before she could finish her sentence, an arrow hit her heart.

He looked towards his sister who was close to him, only to find her lifeless body killed a few momentsago.

"Death was the first and last thing I chose," he thought, a savage idea instead of running away in fear of the massacre happening close by.

"I have no purpose left in this life," he continued. "My family is all I had, and I lost them now. Damn those cursed soldiers," he cursed.

"Why is this happening, just because they suspected us of harboring a criminal?"

"I wish I were stronger, so I could protect those I love."

He pulled the spear out of his stomach and stood up, as if he had decided on a fate that he would follow, like a few of the righteous humans. His fate made his steps go forward without any fear or hesitation of shedding blood.

"In a blink of an eye, I woke up and found myself on the battlefield," he said.

"What I imagined in my mind's eye was clear, and I acted on it, like the pieces of the sculpture I trained on day and night."

"But the open reality was entirely different. My fate was either to succeed or perish."

"I am determined to take a step forward without turning back, to see the men of my village willing to sacrifice themselves to save what is left of the village, even though they have families and children. What do I have?"

"I wondered why I was so afraid, and I didn't see any of it affecting them while I was still trapped."

"I will settle for taking the lead.My fate is one! I will move forward, no matter what, and in the end, a great victory will be filled with joy."

An arrow shot from a bow, moving at incredible speed as if it was eager to take its place in his heart.

Two lifeless bodies fell into a pool of red blood.
