The night came and the full moon was out, the king still decided to carry on with the soldier's patrol, despite the loss of the soldiers he was hell-bent on catching the assassin and now the princess had to sneak away from the kingdom without being spotted by the patrolling soldiers and the assassin.
"Your Highness, I have everything packed," Belle said.
"Thank you. Last time to change your mind, Belle,"
"No, Your Highness, wherever you go, I follow," Evie heard Belle say with eyes burning with determination.
With a smile, Evie pulled Belle in for a hug, she was grateful to have a loyal friend like Belle, Although Belle refers to her as Princess, she had never thought of Belle as a servant but as a very good friend.
Evie was dressed in a black cloak and so was Belle, they draped the hood of the cloak on their faces and then proceeded to sneak out of the room.
The doors to the princess's room made a creaking sound as they opened it, sneaking out seemed like trouble, now Evie was even scared to come out of her room. But she had to do this.
They walked through the hall, the hall looked a lot darker and emptier than before, and the paintings now looked creepy as if someone was watching through them.
"Shhh," Evie shushed Belle when she gasped in shock at seeing a guard who was guarding the doors to the hall entrance, but he looked asleep.
"We have to sneak past him quietly," She said and Belle nodded after gulping.
They walked past the sleeping guard and out the castle doors. They had to go through the back since there were lots of soldiers stationed at the front.
"Who's there?" They heard a soldier ask as they climbed the castle's walls.
"Move swiftly," Evie said giving Belle a boost and before the guard could reach, they had succeeded in jumping over the castle wall.
"Let's run, we'll run as fast as our legs can carry us, but keep your eyes open for more soldiers at the assassin," Evie said in a panic as the gates of the castle opened and soldiers in horses charged their way.

"This will be a good place to set up camp," Zeke said, climbing down from his horse and carrying the tents to set them up, there were only two tents but there were four, how were they supposed to manage, and since they also had a girl in their group.
Xavier sat still on his horse, double checking the wilderness they were in, it was isolated, and only the sound of the wind could be heard blowing against his ears, he looked around sternly, making sure not to miss a thing and when there was nothing to catch sight of, he came down from his horse and helped Zeke set up the tent.
We should have gone further a little, we still have a lot to go, and we are miles away from the border.
"You can keep going Alex, no one is stopping you," Zeke said nonchalantly as he and Xavier set up the tent while Sarah towed the firewood and gathered stones to put around the slim woods.
Ezekiel didn't say any more words, he knew his danger was out in the wilderness, and going alone was a suicide mission, safety in numbers.
"Let me help you with that," Alex said to Sarah, offering to help her to the firewood and before she could protest, he took them out of her grip with ease.
"You...Hey, you shouldn't help her, she says she can handle it!!" Zeke scolded Alex, leaving what he was doing and causing the tent to collapse on Xavier's head.
"Aish, you little fuc...!" Xavier nearly cursed at Zeke for his petty jealousy, he acted like he didn't have a brain, if he wanted Sarah to like him, he should be the one offering to help, and taking heavy loads out of the girl's arms, but here he was scolding the one who chose to help her, he was going to make her hate him even more if he keeps up that attitude.
But seeing Zeke right now, reminded him of himself back then when he and Athena were still teenagers in love, he got jealous easily, and he seemed even more petty than Zeke was.
Sarah glared at Zeke and after seeing that glare Zeke instantly quieted down, he could hear how petty he sounded right now. He even made Athena hate him once.
He cleared his throat and squatted down, getting back to his work like nothing had happened and as if he hadn't raised his voice which echoed all through the secluded wilderness.
"All done," Xavier said, dusting his hands when they were done setting up the two tents.
"How are we going to do this?" Zeke asked stroking his beardless chin.
"I have an idea, how about Ezekiel stay out and take the first watch while Sarah sleeps in a tent and I could manage a tent with Xavier," Alex said, causing Zeke to scoff.
"How about you stay out, Xavier take a tent while I share a tent with the lady," Zeke said while winking at Sarah, tsk, that casanova.
Hearing this Alex pounced on Zeke and they got into a fight, it wasn't as brutal as a real fight but it also wasn't as playful as a fake fight.
Xavier and Sarah just stood there watching the two adults fight like little children playing in the mud, both of them embarrassed at the two.
"Enough," Xavier said and his authoritative voice made them halt, even Sarah who wasn't doing anything jolted at his sudden interjection.
"(Sigh) Alex and Zeke will share a tent while Sarah will use the other," Xavier said.
"What about you?" Sarah asked.
"Who's gonna take the first watch?" Alex asked.
"Zavian will take the first watch," Xavier said.
"Who's Zavian?" Alex asked.
"Oh yeah, Zavian is more than capable of doing that!" Zeke said with a nod.
"But I am not sharing a room with this guy!" He said again.
"Who's Zavian?" Alex asked again but it seemed as if they were all paying a deaf ear to him
"You are more than welcome to stay with Zavian for the watch, I'm sure he'll love the company," Xavier said with a smirk and Zeke froze.
"Who the hell is Zavian?!"
"Zavian doesn't like people. On second thought, I'll be more than happy to share the tent with Alex," Zeke said with a nervous smile.
Sarah brought out some dumplings wrapped up in a thick dishcloth, since they were to their hearts' content before starting their journey in order not to waste food, they would eat the dumplings to sustain them for the night.
After eating the dumplings, Alex couldn't help but ask Sarah about Zavian but as expected Sarah didn't know, she couldn't ask because she believed it was not her place to question the prince and Sir. Ezekiel But she was as curious as he was.
"Have a good night everyone," Zeke said whilst yawning.
"So would no one explain to me who this Zavian is?" Ezekiel asked as Zeke retired to their tent and Xavier proceeded with the surveillance.
