The Mansion {Maders Mansion}

The cold breeze in my face, clinging tightly to my bare arms. My arms wrapped around my torso in an attempt to keep me warm. Tears streaming down my face as memories of Harry's cruel betrayal flood my mind. Of all days, he chose my birthday to hurt me. My red pumps creating a gentle click sound with every contact it made with the tarred road. Creating the only sound the night breeze brings to my ears. Asides my sobs and the distant barks of the neighborhood dogs. My third sense is sudden activated as I sense I'm being followed. I smell danger. Walking alone on such desolate streets doesn't seem like the best idea I could have come up with. I wasn't thinking straight when I made that choice. I should have called my driver to come get me!. This creepy feeling becomes more intense and I decide to do the one thing I know I'm good at; run!. I throw my purse and phone away as I begin to run in frenzy I feel something hot on my trail, when I look back, all I see is dark fog. The more reason to run faster. The road fairly lit by moonlight, my heart in my mouth and prayers of help and mercy escaping my lips. Finally, I hear music playing from loud speakers. I'm close to civilization!. I keep running frantically. One of my pumps gone. Soon I see a club in sight with a few people outside. I begin to scream for help when a figure suddenly appears before me. In fear, I make to run in the opposite direction but another figure is right behind me. Next thing I know; i'm surrounded by darkness. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Imagine waking up in an abandoned Gothic castle in the middle of no where. Welcome

Not long after I had been set free.. Ish, the creature returns to the room and without exchanging words, it wraps it's bony and cold fingers around my left upper arm and pulls me towards the door. Normally,I would have yanked my hand out of such grip. But dare me to do so now.

All I hear is silence and my own breathing.

What ever is happening, I can't make sense of and Harry for his own good should soon put an end to this madness if this is his handwork. Of course it is! Who else would kidnap me and tie me up in a room. I have wronged no one! Not even him. Uugh!

Once I step out of the room, I am welcomed by cold breeze. The corridor is a bit dark but I keep following this creature as it pulls and tugs at my arm to indicate when to stop, move or turn.

Not long after, we approach a very long and empty hall way brightly lit with the orange glow from candles . With dried leaves allover and windows on both sides. Well since I left that room.. cell... prison... Whatever you may want to call it, I haven't seen a single creature. Well asides the one holding on to my arm.

Should I attempt escape? Oh who am I kidding!?. I don't even know where I am and for all I care, i may be jumping from pan, into fire.

I continue the long, dreadful and awfully quiet journey down this hallway that feels to be kilometers long. My dress is a total mess. Dirty and ripped. I am sure I look like a street kid.

Breeze blows and dust gets caught in my nostrils. I sneeze and use my hands to cover my mouth. Only then do I feel the blood on my lips. I'm hurt!? I'm hurt! Oh Harry, you have outdone yourself this time.

And what's up with this creep!? How could a creature stay so quiet for so long!?. It's been only a few minutes and my throat feels like its about to rip. First, I need water and more importantly, I need to speak!.

Just when I thought this dreadful journey was over, we approach a fleet of stairs. A fleet so long it looks like the passage way to the future. Oh common!

I want to ask, no.. I need to ask questions. Harry is fucking wrong going about things this way. He is only making matters worst. I most definitely can't forgive him for what he did.

I suddenly recall the earlier hours of this night and anger flows through my veins causing me to suddenly stop in my tracks and this sudden interruption in the creatures steps clearly isn't something it likes as I feel it's fingers tighten around my arm.

"Did Harry put you up to this? " I ask the creature in an unsure voice. I am angry, but also scared.

The creature doesn't turn nor reply. It simply begins to pull my hand trying to resume movement. What!? No way. No answer, no movement!.

"Did Harry send you!? " I ask this time with much more authority than intended in my voice.

With reflexes so sharp and sudden, so fast I doubt their human. This creature turns to face me. It doesn't speck but bores holes into me with it's eye's and I hear an abdominal growl. It's grip on my arm intensifying. So much so it felt as though one more squeeze would cost me my arm.

Yup! That's enough to get me moving.

My anger is instantly replaced with fear.

Oh Harry, you don't know how much more you just made me hate you.

We keep moving in silence as I look at the back of this creatures black hood. It reminds me of the movie Harry Potter.

I try to get my mind off the fear that's eating me up and focus on the sounds of the dry leaves crunching under my foot.

We finally get to the bottom of the steps and after about three more minutes, I am faced by a gigantic old door.

Did I forget to mention this building looks like an old, abandoned Gothic castle!?.

If I didn't, well I just did.

Standing before this door, my anger bars are fully charged, ready to discharge on Harry as soon as I sight him in the room behind this door.

But once this door is open, only then do I realize that Harry is the least of my problems. This is the point where I realize my life is about to take a nasty turn down horrible lane.
