Chapter 4 Into Crazy Town

My mom swiftly walks into my room and slowly wakes me up Saying "It's Saturday we are going on a road trip just me, you, and your father."

"Where to mom," I said with a curious face knowing where I might go.

"A castle where everybody is special people goes," she said softly."So pack one thing that you want to bring."

What I packed in my backpack was that jar, Mrs. Palmer gave me just in case I needed it.

Twenty, minutes passed we started to get in the car and drive off. As we were driving, I asked my mom to turn on the radio as my dad started to drive. "Sure, son," she said while putting her hand on the dial and turning it on to the pop radio. Once we got on the highway the radios fuzzed in and out saying "shine fall, daybreak, soon you'll be with me."

"Uhh, Darn satellites or something the Russians better not be messing with American stuff," dad said with a huff.

As we were heading to our destination, I saw an old man with a purple Shirt with beige khakis pants all torn up walking in the forest not towards me but staring at me with his one bloodshot, shiny, yellow eye that glows so bright that it looked like car headlights, but it was the afternoon at that time so my parents didn't see it. My hands started to shake my eyes started to water. I curled up into a ball in fear of me going to the castle. I tried talking, but my lips couldn't open I tried to close my eyes but couldn't, blinking was the only thing I could do. And there it was the same saying from the radio that popped over and over in my head: "shine fall, daybreak, soon you'll be with me." But a little more of the saying was added, "sun falls darkness grow and eaten and I'll Be FREE."It felt like the figure was taunting me.

Why didn't he eat me when I was in the forest? I said to myself apparently out loud in a whisper where my mom could slightly hear. I fell asleep.

When we got to the castle I woke up before we entered through the gate it said something Asylum for the gifted teen but I just ignored the name of the place. We drove in, to the front we walked up the cold stone steps and rage the bell and this security guy opened the door like a creepy butler from a show I use to watch. The inside of the asylum wasn't creepy at all it looked like a mansion from the old x-men comics, wood floors stairs from the entrance going up to the second floor.

The doctor came in and said with a smile on his face" Hello I'm Doctor Benjamin Torres but you can call me Dr.Ben. Mmm, Go play in that playroom over there with the other special kids while I and your parents talk."Still stuck in the fear trap I hid behind my mom's leg like a little boy in fear of meeting new people. We walked into the building together, and a lot of patients were staring at me like I was the new kid at a high school. As we reached the doctor's room, he told me to go play with the other kids. Five minutes went I met a new friend Jake, he seems pretty normal. While my parents left with their goog byes Jake whispered, "run."But I just stood there. Four nurses gave me some new clothes to put on, they were white shrubs a nice white too, and throw me in an all-white cell. I was frightened about what's going to happen next.

When night fell, the figure slipped throws the small window in the cell and morphed into a long black ghostly figure which his eyes are not glowing yet.

"Hello again"

"Who are you? Why are you following me?"I asked very angrily. Stress filed my body so I throw the first punch and he morphed into a big lion and roared so loud that he turned into a fly before the nurses came. When the nurses came, she looked around and said: "Stop all the yelling you sound like a lion" then she left.

The figure morphed back into the ghostly black figure and said to me "Soon you'll know who I am and soon you'll be free."The figure dropped an object that looked like a key and the strangest thing happens to the door. It turned inside out. When I put the key inside the door opened to a new world, like the wardrobe in the movie Narnia but it wasn't a key. The figure stood in front of me and shinned his golden eye and told me I wasn't ready yet I laid on the floor and scooted backward and I started to cry what I saw when he showed me his eye was crazier then you can imagine. I started screaming.

Dr.Ben ran down to my cell and said what's wrong I told him nothing.

"I saw you on the security cam talking to something. Then you went into shock."

"I want my jar," I asked quietly.

Dr.Ben asked the nurse to grab his jar with the horn in it. The nurse gave me the jar and walked away with Dr.Ben as I was still afraid. Ben locked the door this time. The figure came back.

"Now Let me tell you a short story it's about how this world came to be First there was Sister Light and Brother Darkness they weren't related but the where husbands and wife." As he morphed into a tree creature, he continues telling his story. They gave birth to Life, Death, and Spirits, who created the god of the elements which you know Water Fire Earth Air and the one people forget about Plasma,"

"Why are you telling me this," I asked all frighteningly."

I grabbed the horn in the jar. Opened the lid and throw it at the figure as I was throwing it I yelled at him to go away but nothing happened. The figure looked at me with his red eye and vanished.
