Toronto: Arrival

Wolfe was off to go to the plane now, anxious about what this person/s that left the Pinocchio tableau might do.

He stepped into the plane wearing his shades to hide the heavy bags under his eyes. For someone to bring back Leslie's corpse...

They do not know how much of an effect that was to Wolfe, who say the body himself.

Or perhaps they knew. That's why they brought it back in the first place.

Leon found out that Leslie Del Mar's graveyard did show signs of tampering, but it was brought back and fixed.

Moreover, the CCTV's were broken a few days before and had to be repaired. The timing was too suspicious, and the police went on to the case too.

But since this was not as serious as homicide, they did not make it their top priority.

Leon and Wolfe made the smart decision not to tell anyone else about the Pinocchio placard yet. His co-workers and friends, especially.

They were the most likely suspects, and must have been collaborating with someone behind the scenes.

Wolfe was wearing a thick gray furcoat, and ordered some cocktail the moment he sat down. It would be quite cold in Toronto at this time of the year, but he never forgot to still be fashionable in his winter wear.

This was more of a front, really. He's trying to show to whoever this sicko was that he's still surviving even after their prank...

But his fingers were shaking, and he looked around the plane just like Leon Mo did after leaving China.

He wished he was here... He wouldn't be so anxious if that buff ogre was here.....

"Take a chill pill, no one set up a corpse tableau in a first-class plane."

His eyes widened when he heard this voice, and a man in a thick khaki trenchcoat sat beside him.

Wolfe lowered his glasses to confirm it, and his eyes gleamed when he saw it was really him.

"You... You told me that you can't come because of your job....."

"I took a two-month leave. A large kick on my paycheck's nuts, I'm telling you." Leon take off his shades. "Who even wears sunglasses inside a plane?"

Wolfe planted a kiss on his lips immediately, earning the glances of some flight stewards.

Leon just shrugged afterward. "Cherry flavored lip balm?"

"I'm scared, Leon Mo." Wolfe sighed dramatically, leaning on his shoulders. "Won't you comfort your nervous boyfriend?"

Leon scoffed. "Not like you're the only one. I can't have thousands of people around the globe be disappointed for wasting their pre-ordered tickets."

"Hah, I never thought of you to be so affected by money." Wolfe chuckled. "Being the son of the second-richest mafia empire after all."

"And ran away from said mafia empire without any financial support from parents to chase his dreams as a policeman." Leon corrected. "If you lived the way I did, you would have worried about money too."

"Were you ever penniless?" Wolfe asked.

"Yeah. Got drowned in loans even. Had to work both in the police station AND a surfboard rental shop."

Wolfe frowned. "Why California of all places?"

Leon just answered. "Sexy women in bikinis."

The actor chuckled. "Hah, that's the reason why I insisted on moving there too when I was 15. But I easily got tired of the beach and had rashes from the seawater. So now I'm in Broadway."

There was an awkward pause between them after that.

Wolfe wanted to ask something, but shook his head.

No, it's not possible that he watched that movie.

Barely anyone even watched that movie, though he was still quite proud of it.

He fell asleep during the 1hr and 40 min flight to Canada.

Leon just let him rest on his shoulders during the whole time, watching a movie in his laptop.

A movie about a sailor and his son.

This was the 36th time he'll be watching this movie, but the last time he did was 3 years ago and he wanted to reminisce a bit.

He compared the whitewashed sailor boy in the screen, and this handsome man leaning on him. Not much difference, really. In appearance, at least.

But everything else..... He could only laugh bitterly.

Once they landed, he woke the sleeping man gently. This was actually when he would most resemble the child from his dreams.

When he wakes up like this, still not mindful of his surroundings..... That was when he was the closest to the Wolfe he once knew.

And so, Leon came to like watching him wake up very much.

They went to rent the same hotel room together. They made video call to their parents, who were happy to see him together.

"You take care of Wolfe there, ok? Be his loudest supporter during the play!" Mr. Fang told him.

"I will, Mr. Fang." Leon promised.

"You boys snuggle close to each other to keep warm. I can see how red your noses are without my glasses. " Mrs. Mo told them.

Wolfe nodded happily. "We will, Mrs. Mo!"

After the call, Leon went to change clothes. Toronto was -5 degree Celsius right now, and it still felt deadly cold with the heater on.

Wolfe came back with hot chocolate on their shared bedroom.

He blinked when he saw Leon was still changing.

"O-Oh! Sorry...."

Leon just gestured at the vanity table. "Just put them there."

Wolfe did, and sat on the bed wrapping a blanket around himself. He could not help but ogle at Leon's well-sculpted body, but would turn around whenever Leon would look back at him.

Leon could only chuckle, finding this red-nosed wolf adorable in his actions.

"Thanks for the hot choc." Leon picked up his own cup, and drank beside him.

Wolfe just nodded with his face red either from the cold or flusteredness. Leon was inclined to believe it was a mix of both.

Then, he sneezed lightly. "Man... I can't get sick like this for the show in three days. "

"Yeah, you do get sick easily in extreme weather. I already put the heater to the maximum. There must be a blizzard outside." Leon said.

Wolfe then fidgeted, drinking slower than he usually does. There was something on his mind.

"Can you... Nevermind."

Leon finished his cup, and set it down. "What is it? Might as well say it."

He asked, genuinely shy about the idea.

"Can you cuddle me to keep me warm?"
