The Dragon released its fire on the moving corpses as it soared through the sky and to its greatest surprise the corpses when reduced to ashes would instantly reform it's self to their original form, realizing attacking the corpses was pointless she searched for Leonard knowing taking out its source would release the spell.

"Where is he?," she thought unable to find him, The dragon was startled with a gasp as Leonard apparated before her, his eyes pitch black with bat-like wings latched on his shoulder blades and a trident held on his hands, with a smile on his face he launched it piercing the dragon through its heart.

"Do you think a little pinch would kill.." The dragon roared in pain as black protruding veins became visible through its thick reddish skin, it was like poison it spread quickly through its skin stopping at its heart as it descended from the sky, crashing in full speed into the ground.

"No! No! No," The dragon slowly reverted to its human form, Lilith coiled herself, panting for breath as she watched Leonard descend from the sky like a fallen angel.

"What did you do to me?" she asked in a weak tone

"Not everyone can resist the pull of the dead, the trident contained lost souls searching for other souls to consume, you are simply becoming a feast for the dead, they would eat you whole until there's nothing left and you return to whatever hellhole you crawled out from," he said with a smirk, a facade however as he felt an immense pain within as though he was literally on fire, he knew he was slowly dying, it was the cost of using this power.

"YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!" she yelled as her lower body slowly faded into dust, "I don't want to die, please," she pleaded with a teary eye

"Do not worry, you won't be alone, I might be joining you soon enough," he said with a chuckle falling on his knees as blood streamed through his ears and eyes while his lips turned shades darker, "It's already taking effect," he muttered

"Why?, why would you rob me of my revenge?, Morbius took everything from me, he deserves to suffer," she mumbled in between sobs, "He deserves to suffer..."

Her body felt limp while it slowly fade to the ground, she could feel it, the warmth of life stolen by the cold embrace of death, it felt empty, dying in such a place with no one to mourn her existence.

"Such a cruel fate," she muttered to no one but herself, she felt exhausted yet wanted to go on living not wanting to give up, denial of death, it wasn't supposed to end this way, it was supposed to end with a happy ending, one she deserved.

"Do you think I'm an evil woman young lycan?," she asked

"Not evil but Lost," he answered after giving it some thoughts

"Lost?," she repeated his words, "Do you pity my worthless existence that you refrain from saying the truth wanting to spare my feelings during my last moments," she questioned with a saddened smile

"I do not pity you, you held unto your beliefs to the very end, its somewhat admirable, wanting to change the laws of fate itself even though it meant deluding yourself, you were wronged by a monster, all you sought was vengeance, and in vengeance you became lost,"

"Was it wrong of me?, to seek vengeance for my horrible fate?," she asked with a bitter smile

"It would be hypocritical of me to say yes, like you I was once driven by vengeance, but it all changed when I met Evelyn, I wouldn't have met her if you hadn't cursed Morbius, so you see...you aren't all bad," he said with a thoughtful expression earning a loud burst of laughter from Lilith while tears streamed down her cheeks.

"How ironic, my curse became a blessing," she chuckled with the thought while Leonard smiled in return, a smile which warmed Lilith's cold heart, there was kindness in his smile, a gentleness. It was the smile of one who laughed with ease and saw the best sides of a person as if he were sunshine that only radiated from the best aspects of those he met, their flaws entirely invisible to his gaze, he was the first person in a long time who didn't see her as anything but a heartless beast, he was someone who understood her.

"How I wish you were born during my time, I'm sure we'd have been best of friends,"

"Being emotional doesn't look good on you Lilith," he teased with a wink, "And besides I'm dying anyway and quite certain we'd be going to the same place,"

Lilith chuckled at his words while she started affectionately at him, she could feel it, it wasn't some fleeting crush or interest she felt towards him, it was Love, genuine love.

"Thank you Leon, I'm free," she sobbed, she felt relief and a sense of joy knowing, in the end, she loved a man who understood her without a glint of fear evident in his gaze, she felt liberated knowing she wouldn't die loving a monster and with her last ounce of strength she used her last bit of magic to pull Leon towards her, planting a soft tender kiss on his lips which lasted a few seconds before Leonard pulled away granting her last dying wish.

"Thank you," she said running her fingers across his cheekbones transferring her last bit of magic to rid the dark spell he had cast on himself.

"What are you doing?," Leon asked with widened eyes, he no longer felt pain or death, the hundreds of souls had been exorcised from his body, and the corpses fell lifelessly to the ground. the skinwalker had released him from his life-threatening spell.

"My whole existence has been attributed to a curse by everyone but you, this is my parting gift young Lycan," she smiled sweetly while her eyes felt heavy, and the world began disappearing under her closing lids.

"Why don't you do the same for yourself?," Leonard asked, surely the witch could release the souls from consuming hers as she did to him.

"To what end?, I'll be left powerless if I do, I no longer seek revenge, besides there's nothing left for me to live for, I cannot have you, I can see how much you love and care for the girl, if I do decide to live it will only be a matter of time before I decide to have you to myself and kill the innocent girl, i cannot do that to you, you deserve better, i cannot gift your kindness with suffering," she uttered her words weakly tracing her fingers across his lips, "All I wanted was for someone to appreciate my existence, I can now rest in peace,"

"I see, sweet dreams Lilith," Leonard said with a smile, there's was light in Lilith which had been covered by the eclipse of heartbreak.

"Be careful of that boy named asher, in the near future he would bathe the earth with blood and soar the dark sky with a pair of red wings, he would bring about the end to all things and usher in a new age, I do not know if it is going to be one of light or darkness."

"What do you mean,"

"I do not understand it myself, it was something I felt, one more thing you will understand yourself better by learning about Morgana Sebastian, Live long my beautiful boy..." her words were left unfinished as she turned to dust, fading into nothingness, as though she didn't exist in the first place, however this time she wasn't nothing, she was someone, her existence mattered.

"Rest in peace Lilith and thank you," Leonard said after burying her ashes on the sacred grounds of Sabrina hallow, it felt right, she belonged amid witches, it was the proper burial ground for the most powerful witch, he paid his last respect before existing the forest to find Evelyn.
