A biiiig plot hole. The joy that a novel brings to a reader is seeing the Mc climb the ladder of power and watch the Mc succeed but after all the hard work of making the Mc a smart and honestly a person that is not retarded the author decides to just ruin that by making him keep a assistant that he KNOWS is going to betray him. Honestly ruins the hype that the readers have for the success of the Mc especially after being told that he WILL lose pretty much everything. I’m not sure why he did that, maybe to keep the story going but I’m pretty sure no one wants to read how the Mc gets back up AGAIN after all that has happened.

The story started out really good. I mean I was honestly enjoying the fact the author was developing both the MC as well as the other female characters before engaging in illicit activities. It would increase the emotional connection right? Apparently the Author didn't feel the same. He then goes and introduces a female honestly randomly that the MC then proceeds to get with out of nowhere due to his neverending but never used lust. Has all these beauties already, doesn't use them, gets with random b*tch. I mean ok that's whatever it'll get better right? Wrong. Later right after an event having to do with the previous woman he then accepts a lady who is blatantly broadcasting "i'm going to kill you and take everything you have from you" vibes. Like he literally says he knows what she is doing but still accepts it anyways. The best part? He doesn't even trick her or do anything about it. This idiot even ends up sleeping with her. What. in . the flying FK!? The story then goes further about his escapades that then proceed to have the author show other dungeon masters conquering as well. Ok neato right? Then the MC goes and shuts of his system notifications. What?. Are you flying fk retarded? Do you need to get sodomized before realizing that your just making your MC make obviously stupid decisions!? Suffice it to say I'm done with this novel. The author purposefully showed his character to be rather cunning and intelligent early on then turns around and makes him one of the most retarded MC's I have ever had the misfortune of reading about. Don't read this novel.

But don't write the plot hastily and spoil the quality...... One of the best startings which suited my taste I have ever read.......
I started reading this because I liked the authors other novels and when I started reading it I thought I found a hidden gem but that only lasted until the end of volume 1. Where author started forcing thing into story. Originally MC was a young, somewhat naive but careful and calculative person. But that all gone out of the window at the end of the volume and author started to limit MC. I couldn't bring myself to read any longer when MC no longer felt like a real person but a robot that thinks like an alien. What I mean is that there could have been so many different scenarios where he could select the right and human-like approach to things but author forced things and he selected something like strapping a time bomb woman to his back knowing she tries to kill him but ignores it. And the worst thing is author tries to make something out of it and stirs the **** further so I dropped.
I love how one character has ticked off the most vocal of readers, leaving them begging for her head. I hope she stays. The story is fun and entertaining. Are there issues? Sure. When aren't there any issues? Still enjoyable. It's a shame the author hasn't been on in months. I'd really like to see where this and others of their series go.
